  1. The road takes 3 hours, the distance is 210 km. Leaving Kazan, you need to cross the Volga through the ice crossing Arakchino - Verkhny Uslon. Then you need to move along the R-241 highway, passing cities such as Russkoye Makulovo, Big Memi, Small Kokuzy, Buinsk. The R-241 highway will lead to Ulyanovsk. However, it must be taken into account that the ice crossing does not always work and depends on the weather, and the cost is 170 rubles. At the crossing, there is a checkpoint and a heating point.
  2. The traditional version takes at least 3.5 hours. The distance is 230 km. To do this, go out of Kazan along the Gorky highway to the A-295-M-7 intersection ring and turn to the last one. M-7 crosses the Volga bridge. Then, on the highway in the Pokrovka area, you need to perform a left U-turn on the ring, go to R-241 and go along it to Ulyanovsk.
  3. And another travel option. To do this, cross the Volga near Kazan, then take the M-7 or R-241 highway to Oktyabrsky and turn left. In this case, the road will pass along the Volga coast through the settlements of Tenki, Tenishevo, Antonovka, Kuybyshevsky Zaton, Teteyushi and others.
