Participation in battles in the Arena is also rewarded with the indicated cards.
The game currency received for real money is gold. With it, you can purchase new kits or pay for entry to the Arena. Also, in addition to cards, gold is a reward received there.
To win, it is necessary to reduce the opponent’s health points to zero. In the arsenal of the gamer are maps of weapons, various creatures from the Warcraft universe, spells, as well as unique abilities of the hero, depending on the chosen class.
The “table” is a game battlefield, which has a number of purely visual scenery that does not affect the outcome or the process of the match.
Game mechanics

Efficiency for various classes
As described above, the correct use of this card is the key to victory. For any deck that targets the leith (active play in the later stages rather than the early ones), Hearthstone will be useful. The deck is also not the last indicator of the usefulness of this card. It is worth noting the advantages for some classes:
- Warlock - after summoning Deathwing, he is able to most quickly restore the supply of game cards.
- Druid - with the help of "Wild Growth" or "Illumination" can summon Deathwing to the deck ahead of schedule.
- Mage - experiments with the secret of "Bifurcation" will be able to nullify the enemy’s attempts to confront Deathwing.
For the rest of the classes, it is either limitedly useful or completely useless. From which it should be concluded that Deathwing itself is a very strong card, which is best kept until the very end of the battle.
A bit of history
Initially, the dragon bore the name Neltharion and was endowed with the powers of the Earth Guardian. Later he went mad and got the name Deathwing. Hearthstone sets out this story in passing.
Everywhere mentioned Aspects were five dragons, each of which the Titans endowed with a unique gift. Dragon Nozdorm received the gift of the guardian of time, Alexstrasza became the guardian of everything that breathes and lives in Azeroth, the green dragon Ysera - the guardian of nature, the snake Malygos became the patron saint of sorcerers and the bearer of secret magical knowledge. And finally, the black dragon Neltharion turned out to be the guardian of the earth. At the end of the ritual, the Titans left the world they created, leaving it under the protection of dragons.
The subsequent fate of Neltharion led him to an artifact of unprecedented power, which contributed to the exposure of his treacherous essence and further transformation into a demonic form. During the War of the Ancients, caused by Sargeras' attempts to enter Azeroth in his true guise in order to destroy all life, Deathwing opposed the other Aspects, thereby depriving the army of elves who opposed the troops of Sargeras, Archimonde, General Mannoroth, and Psar Hakkar.
Further fate
At the end of the Second War, a tall young man arrived at the gates of the capital of Lordaeron, who soon very successfully confided in the trust of dignitaries and became a member of the royal circle.
The business acumen of the young man who introduced himself as Dawal Prestor helped to resolve a number of palace intrigues and localize conflicts. Prestor’s influence grew over time, he even managed to enlist the support of the king. But in the end, the magician Krasus managed to see the reincarnated Deathwing in his youth, whose goal was to destroy the Alliance from the inside by concentrating power in his hands.
The mage managed to persuade the surviving Aspects to follow Deathwing's trail. Sensing something was wrong, Prestor disappeared, and his influence with him disappeared.
Conclusion
Many Warcraft games mention Deathwing. Hearthstone is no exception. Some events unfold in Warcraft 2: Beyond The Dark Portal. The dragon also returns to World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
It is noteworthy that in Hearthstone this dragon was considered the strongest for a long time due to the base attack at 12.
