New gasification rules - what should be taken into account?
For two years (2017-2018), several changes were adopted in the Russian legislation governing the gas connection procedure. In general, they focused on simplifying access to gas supply networks - including by reducing the time for considering applications. Also, citizens got the opportunity to apply for connection to the backbone networks via the Internet.

At the stage of applying for technical requirements, the following documents will be required to connect the gas to a private house:
- The situational plan of the site to which it is planned to carry out gas pipelines.
- Copies of the passport and documents for the site and the house (in case the construction work is completed).
- A power of attorney or other documentation if the application is submitted from a representative of the owner of the connection object.
- If the planned gas consumption exceeds 5 m 3 / h, then an approximate calculation of the volume of fuel consumption will be required.
- The consent of the owner of the gas pipeline network with which it is planned to connect the facility.
Also in some cases, the list of documents for connecting the house to gas provides for the topographic survey of the site if the first gasification is carried out. A graphic document must be prepared no earlier than 2 years before submitting a request.
The following is the conclusion of an agreement on the connection of the target facility with the gas pipeline. It can be issued not only with the direct organization - the owner of the supply line. For example, it may be a third-party service company engaged in the maintenance of the gas distribution network. After this, a contract is concluded for the development of the project and the installation work. This document is also not necessary to conclude with the immediate owner of the highway.
