In many games, leveling up professions performs one of the main functions. No exception - and the multiplayer game of VoB. An arcanite ingot as a reagent was introduced into it in patch 3.3.5. Jewelers, alchemists, blacksmiths and engineers cannot do without it, because this reagent is included in the formulation of many very valuable things, including the Sulfuron Hammer.
What are arcanite bullions for?
The usual seemingly arcanite ingot is a source of powerful energy. This item is able to make any thing durable and endow it with unique features. The miners use it to melt the enchanted element - a particularly durable alloy; blacksmiths make practically impenetrable equipment - cuirasses, bracers, greaves, shoes and weapons; engineers are jet disks, and tailors are raincoats. It will take an arcanite ingot and jewelers to make unique items. In a word, without this reagent, it is almost impossible to develop any of the VoB professions from 300 to 375 levels.
How to get and where to get arcanite ingot
Only alchemists can extract bars from arcanite. But for this they will have to first purchase a prescription from a merchant named Pestychins. You can find it in Tanaris at coordinates 55:20. Transmutation will require ingredients such as a thorium ingot and an arcane crystal, a by-product obtained by miners by sifting thorium ore. This is the only way to obtain arcanite ingots in WWII. If you are studying other professions, it is worth considering the purchase of ready-made ingots or reagents for their manufacture at auction. In short, if you need arcanite ingots, you can’t do without thorium.
Where to look for thorium sources
Thorium and arcane crystals, necessary for transmutation of arcanite ingots, can be obtained in many places of Azeroth, including dungeons. Small deposits of this ore can occasionally be found in Un'Goro Crater and Feralas. However, the thorium reserves in them are so small, and the chance of crystals falling out tends to zero at all, that it is better to go to Silitus, where rich thorium veins covered with mucus come to the surface of the earth. Players can find the same generous ore deposits in the Eastern and Western Plaguelands and the Winter Keys, where they hide in numerous tunnels. In the Forgotten City, players can dig veins not only in the open world, but also directly in the dungeon. The first thing that players should pay attention to is the preparation of a convenient and competent route from the point of view of the farm.
