Trial of the Crusader is a raid dungeon for 10/25 players, first introduced in Wrath of the Lich King 3.2. The dungeon is presented in two modes: as a test of the crusader and a test of the great crusader (which is a heroic version). In the past addition, the raiders could get many unique achievements and vehicles, which, unfortunately, are currently removed from the game.
PlotThe plan of the assault on Icecrown Citadel is entering its final phase, and the brave heroes of the Alliance and the Horde do not have much time left to gather strength and spirit. Faction leaders open the Silver Tournament, and with it the Trial of the Crusader, to test the combat readiness of their best warriors. They have to fight with the ferocious Northrend monsters, demons from the other world and the threat of drowsing deep beneath the arena.
Bosses
The first "meta boss" of World of Warcraft, which is three different bosses, continuously following each other. It is worth noting that you will receive a reward only for killing the last boss, and if you die at one of the early stages of the raid, you will have to start all over again.
Magnotavr, the first boss of the Coliseum. Itβs quite simple, it puts a curse on the tanks, increasing the damage itβs entering, stomps the ground, blocking the use of abilities, and calls assisting snobolds that interfere with the raid in every way.
- Acid Womb and Dread Scales
After killing Gormok, you have only a few seconds before these worms appear. The tactics are simple. You should beat them separately from each other and it is advisable to kill them at the same time to prevent the state of a berserker from one of the bosses. It is also advisable for raiders with various curses (red and green) to come running to remove them.
Pretty interesting opponent. After the mass stunning and rejection of the raid to the walls of the coliseum, the Icy Roar selects a random player and rushes to meet him, if the player dodges, the boss will be stunned, if not, he will fall into a berserker state.
Eredar enters the battle with his assistants, the Mistresses of Pain. In battle, summons various portals and volcanoes that summon new demons. It also uses two not very pleasant curses - a live bomb that explodes a target if it does not receive proper treatment, and a green flame that sets fire to the ground around the players.
A battle similar to the arena. You have to fight with six (in normal mode), or with ten (in heroic) warriors of the opposite faction. The battle is simple and unique, your primary task is to deal with opponents in the following sequence: pets> healers> ranged warriors> melee warriors.
Two bosses with general health. For successful passage, the raid must be divided into two parts, with a healer and a tank for each group, the light half will fight with the dark twin, and the dark, respectively, with the light.
The last boss of the raid dungeon. It hits hard, plunging underground, almost deadly, beware of its spikes. It calls on large and small scarab assistants, if the former should be kept in place and not touched, then it is advisable to get rid of the latter as quickly as possible, because the boss will not be too long underground.
Summary
For many seasoned WoW players, Trial of the Crusader was one of their favorite raid dungeons due to its uniqueness and complexity. In this place, the heroes could find and collect the best armor of Update 3.2 and prepare themselves for the battle with the Lich King, but modern players will undoubtedly find this place fascinating, especially for solo.
