Often children, walking along the coast of the sea, collect pebbles and make various buildings out of them. They examine objects, understand that they can be of different shapes, structures, colors, even shades. Sometimes a separate element reminds someone of a child, looks like a heart or a fish, a triangle or a cone.
You can offer a child to make a picture of stones on the sand right on the sand. The first time you can send him and help. Find the missing element, submit a simple idea. But the picture made in the sand cannot be taken with you and shown to relatives and friends.

To make such a flower, you need a twig on which it will be located. It can be glued to cardboard, or it can be attached using wire. You will need one large and flat element, rounded small pebbles for leaflets and petals of the same size and shape. In order for the picture to be bright and colorful, each element needs to be prepared in advance.
Stone painting
You can, of course, just lay out the picture from unpainted elements, many artists do just that, but children love bright colors to make the picture multicolor. To do this, each element must first be painted with gouache. And first one side. Wait until it dries, turn over and cover another. You can dye it twice so that there are no spots.
Next, each stone is covered with acrylic varnish. Then the details will be juicy, shiny and smooth. Yes, and sticking such an element will be much easier, and it will hold on tight.
After all the elements are ready, you need to first lay out all the details on the cardboard, as they do with a simple application of paper, and then glue them. When the glue dries, the picture is ready.
Birds on a branch
For such an application of stones, six small oval or triangular parts will be needed. It will be the bodies of birds. Two thicker branches are also useful, with thin and small ones located on them. Thick ones are attached with wire, and small ones stick out to the sides. So the picture is added bulk.
Bird stones are not placed on the branch itself, but higher. Leave room for paint or marker paws. Elements should be placed with the thickened side down, similar to the structure of the bird. It remains to draw beaks. If desired, the child can add even more small details by drawing wings, eyes, coloring feathers. Such an application of stones for children will be simple. You can do it even with 3-4 year olds.
Girl with balls
To make such a picture you need to pick up stones in the form of balloons. This is not difficult, as they come in different shapes. Both round and oval objects will do. To image the girl’s body, you need to find one round stone and one long, in the shape of a cone or trapezoid, to resemble a heroine’s dress.
Balloons can be painted, or can be left in kind. Then it remains to correctly place them first without glue and draw the rest of the details. You can also make an application of stones and shells. There are many of them on the coast. You can use those and other natural materials in one image.

Such a plot picture has many details. They are all of different sizes. I’ll have to try to find such peculiar pebbles. The bodies of cats are oblong and thicken downward. The heads are rounded, oval. Ears need small and pointed stones at the ends.
