Boys of all ages love transport. This love can be used so that the son puts on this or that thing, filled the gaps in mathematics, fell asleep during the day without vagaries, ate all the porridge ... The main thing is that the application “machine” in one form or another be in the field of vision of the child. It can be sewn, embroidered, knitted, made of paper. Paper transport
Paper applications are good for cards, panels. At the same time, boys are happy to make cars, not to say that “handicraft” is a girl’s business, and dads are pleased to receive gifts from their sons for their birthday, professional holiday, or February 23rd.
Unusual postcard in the form of a car. Find any template, transfer it to the folded thick paper. It is better to take a car, which has a wide side, trunk, body, where the fold of the postcard will be located. Cut a card on three sides. It turns out a car that can be opened. You can make a classic birthday card with a gift box, and when you open it, the volumetric applique "machine" will expand. Just when bending the sheet, cut a strip, bend it in the opposite direction, glue the car. Now, when you open the card, the car will “break out” forward. Next, draw a landscape (sky, road, hills).
Police, fire truck, ambulance
From transport felt, drape, velveteen and other non-crumbling material, you can build any transport, whether it be a police, ambulance or fire truck. To do this, print a car template from the coloring pages for kids, as the image in them is simple, large, simplified in detail. Cut all the details.
To make a police car, you need a white case, a black hood with a trunk, wheels, blue wheels, red flashers, yellow lights. Glass can not be made, their color will be from the base of the product. To do this, completely cut out the pickup template from cotton. Sew on it wheels, wheels, bumper, window. Stitch or zigzag stitch all the lines. Separately, sew a box with pumpkin (take thick material). Puncture parts on a T-shirt, sew on with an overcast seam.
Application "car"
Whoever owns the hook can knit any model. Knitted applique will decorate a scarf, hat, plaid, rug. To link a car, dial a chain of thirteen loops. In the first row, starting with the third loop, knit eleven double crochets.
The next row is increased by three columns (increase from the side of the hood). The third save unchanged. If when knitting the thread turned out to be from the trunk, go through the product with connecting posts, and then go to the fourth row.

Knitted Appliques
Please note that thick yarn will make a volume applique. A machine made of thin yarn will keep its shape if you knit simple columns with knit loops, that is, the thread is knitted with a column and a relief is created.
If you make a plaid blanket, then for applications, take soft yarn, for rugs you need dense blanks. First you make cars, then you knit colored squares. Distribute blanks (photograph all options, then choose the best).
Then sew appliques onto the squares according to the pattern of the product. Next, tie all the elements with the main color, connect with each other. The resulting mat is tied with multicolored columns or sewed on braid.
Such applications can be used in a development book or on a rug, supplemented with other elements. Then the cars will be removable. And they are attached to the base with adhesive tape, buttons, ropes, buttons, zippers. They can be made convex by adding filler.
