Types of installation
Laying back cover can be performed in two versions. With the transverse method, the tes is laid from the bottom up, parallel to the ridge. In this case, the top layer of the boards should overlap the previous one by 5 cm. With longitudinal laying, three methods are used:
- end-to-end: two layers are installed, the upper row is shifted taking into account the bottom by half a board;
- shelter with a sheller: one continuous layer is applied, and the joints are covered with boards;
- sideways: when laying the bottom layer, a certain space is left, and the upper boards should cover the previous ones by 5 cm.
