Fuchsia ampelous - a very bright, abundantly flowering houseplant. It is because of the extraordinary beauty of the flowers and their long flowering that it has been of such interest to growers for the past five centuries. During this considerable period, breeders have bred a huge number of different cultivars. But the shapes and colors of flowers and inflorescences in general can not be counted. So the fuchsia flower can rightfully argue with a rose and an orchid for the royal crown.
Like most indoor plants, this flower has its own little secrets to care for. Since fuchsia is characterized by abundant flowering, it simply needs to be fed with mineral substances. For successful growth, an optimal temperature is needed - in the daytime about + 20-22 degrees, at night - slightly lower. Fuchsia ampelous feels very good in the summer in the open air, so if possible it should be taken out to balconies, verandas or to the garden. The flower is especially comfortable in August - September, when significant changes in temperature are observed on the street at night and in the afternoon. In the morning, dew drops can be seen on the leaves. Destructive for a plant temperature above 30 degrees. The plant begins to wither, the flowers fall, the leaves turn yellow. Especially in such hot weather, fuchsia suffers in apartments. To prevent the death of the plant, remove it from the windowsill to the floor in a well-ventilated place. Fuchsia ampelous loves plentiful watering. From spring to autumn, it is watered daily in the morning. In winter, watering is reduced to 1-2 times a week. Drying of the soil coma is unacceptable.
