The second husband was Boris Kagan, a scientist. He was a doctor of technical sciences and received at one time the Stalin Prize. The couple had a son, Leonid.

Soon Zoya Borisovna met with Andrei Voznesensky, who literally turned her head. By her own admission, the influence of Ascension was so great that she, without hesitation, left her husband.

In 1964, Zoya Boguslavskaya, whose photographs were not yet published in any magazine, was married for the third time. This marriage was her last, it lasted 46 long happy years and ended due to the death of her husband in 2010.
