There are many varieties of fence designs for fencing the site. It can be reinforced concrete slabs, corrugated board, brick, euro-piling and others. Among them, the ready-made decorative block fence - “fragmentary stone” stands out for its originality. The fence from it not only has a rich, attractive appearance, but also is a reliable protection of the infield. Cement-sand blocks for the fence - this is the easiest and the right choice of pre-fabricated fencing, which will last you for many decades.
Decorative Fence Blocks
The intake block is a decorative hollow rectangular element for fencing, having a two-sided decorated surface. It is installed on the reinforcement, and the void is poured with concrete mortar. This design is durable and is a fixed formwork for the fence.
The surface of the decorative block may have smooth, even plaster or embossed texture of chipped stone. A chamfer made along the edges of the element gives the fence an aesthetic appearance. In addition, the fragmentary stone fence block is much cheaper than natural material.
Production of intake blocks
An intake unit is produced by dry vibropressing at high pressure. This technology provides the concrete mass density, resulting in a finished frost-resistant material. It consists of high-quality components: sand, cement, fillers, dyes, additives. The latest production technologies of such an artificial block allow us to produce a fence element that does not visually differ from natural material and even surpasses it in many respects.
Blocks are produced for the fence of a straight or angular shape, as well as of various sizes: 390 × 190 × 188 mm, 380 × 95 × 188 mm, 398 × 198 × 140 mm, 390 × 190 × 140 mm. A variety of colors, textures, two-sided front view, an edge around the entire perimeter, a combination with plastic, wood, with art forging make it possible to realize any engineering and architectural decisions.
Benefits of Fence Blocks
The fence block called "fragmentary stone" has several advantages.
- Ease and speed of installation. Due to the rectangular geometric shape, the same size, light weight, stacking blocks is very fast.
- Low cost in comparison with natural material. Decorative fence blocks, the price of which depends on the size and color, cost 16-80 rubles per 1 piece.
- Strength. Artificial chipped stone is frost-resistant, does not absorb moisture, does not burn, does not change its properties over the years. The blocks do not deform, do not shrink and do not collapse under the influence of external atmospheric phenomena, which contributes to the attractiveness and durability of the structure.
- Easy to operate. Fence structures constructed from such a material do not need special care and are easily restored.
- Unusual design. Blocks for the fragmentation stone fence have a wide color palette, due to which it is possible to create various architectural forms from them, giving the fence a beautiful view.
disadvantages
The construction of block fence structures has only two drawbacks:
- construction of a strip foundation is required;
- the complexity of the work.
Mounting
The construction of the fence from the blocks provides for the installation of a strip foundation for the entire perimeter of the fence. To install pillar blocks at their locations (the recommended distance between them is 3100 mm), metal pipes with a diameter of at least 60 mm should be concreted, and 90 mm under the gate and gate. Fences from hollow block elements are installed on vertical rods, which are mounted in the foundation in such a way that each of them falls into the block in the center. If the height of the wall of the fence is less than 4 blocks, the installation of reinforcement is not required. After concrete hardening, it is necessary to waterproof the foundation with water-repellent impregnation ST-17, "Ceresite" or "Aquastop".
Installation begins with laying on the masonry mortar the first row of intake and pillar block elements around the perimeter of the fence. First, pillar blocks are laid out and glued. Then the intake elements are adjusted to them along the length. Block pillar and fence elements under a torn stone are connected among themselves by frost-resistant adhesive "Plitonit", " Strengthened Kreps" or masonry mortar. After the glue hardens, concrete is filled in the internal cavity of the blocks. But before filling the voids, they should be abundantly moistened with water from the inside. It is recommended to fill no more than 3 blocks at a time.
For mounting spans with other material (wood, corrugated board) embedded elements are welded to the pipe and processed by anticorrosive material. After completing the installation of the fence, it is advisable to waterproof with a water repellent and paint.
