Yuri Petukhov - science fiction
Fiction in the works of Petukhov stands out a special place. He started with a traditional fantasy action movie, but then decided to abandon it in favor of a new genre - literature of superrealism. Yuri Petukhov is a science fiction writer who works in this vein. It was an unusual bloody thrash for the Soviet Union, but familiar for the West.
It was in this style that the novels “Satanic Potion”, “Slaughter”, “Star Revenge” and other works were written by the writer Yuri Petukhov. The author worked in a controversial genre, but these books had many readers from among those people who liked the bloodthirstiness and the idea of the superiority of the Slavic people over the world. Other readers criticize Petukhov's art books, calling him a graphomaniac.
Religious preferences of the writer
Yuri Petukhov himself called himself Orthodox, but in fact he was inclined to neopaganism and had almost no ties with Christianity. The writer replaced Orthodoxy with the fictional ancient Slavic-Aryan religion, emphasized esotericism, and denied the scientific method.
The writer died at 57. He was buried in Moscow.

The writers V. Bondarenko and Lichutin in the newspaper Zavtra, on the contrary, positively evaluate such an author as Yuri Petukhov.
