The fact is that it will not be so easy to do this - they are securely hidden, or rather, deactivated. Therefore, you will need to find exactly where in the directory with the game the folder containing the configuration files is stored. There should be several configs, each of which corresponds to its level of complexity of the game. Choose the file that suits your level of difficulty and open it with a text editor, for example, Notepad, which everyone has on their computer. There you will need to add a line with the code you are interested in - there are not so many of them in the game. The most popular is g_godMode, it makes your character completely invulnerable. Initially, the codes are used by developers and testers to check all the functions of the game and fix bugs found. And in the case of Crysis, the codes are presented in two versions - the basic one, which was already described above, and also in debug mode. To activate it, you will need to start the game with the -DEVMODE parameter, after which a wide variety of functions will become available to you. You can switch between the first and third person views, move between checkpoints, fly and so on. In general, all the features that a developer might need to test and debug the game. However, note that in Crysis 2 the codes are completely different, so do not try to use cheats from the first episode in the sequel.
Codes for Crysis 2
As mentioned above, for Crysis 2, the codes are different - first of all, it is worth noting that now you are no longer in a debug mode, accordingly, the possibilities become much more limited. However, now to activate cheats you do not need to change the configuration file - just set the desired command in the console. As in most computer games, in Crysis 2, the console is called up by pressing the tilde (~) key, after which you need to use the con_restricted command in the line that appears, setting it to 0, which means that all restrictions are removed from the console. And now you can register cheats in the same console. The immortality code has remained unchanged from the first part, but now you can get endless ammunition only with the g_infiniteAmmo code.
