The Khovansky cemetery has been part of the funeral bureau of the State Unitary Enterprise “Ritual” from its very foundation, since 1972. The name is due to the village located nearby, Nikolo-Khovansky. The burial area is divided into three large parts, the sizes of 88, 60 and 50 hectares, the names of the parts, respectively, Central, Northern and Western. In general, the cemetery is divided into land for burials, there are more than 500 of them. Within the territory there is the Church of the Holy Prophet the Baptist and Baptist John, in addition, there are two chapels, the first built in honor of the icon of the Mother of God of God, and the second is named after Marina the Rev. .

It is also noteworthy that all of their monuments were turned away from the main avenue, which is located on a new site. Since the foundation of the cemetery, the administration has been located on the left side of the main entrance, there is an archive of registration of all burials since 1972. The rental equipment has everything you need to care for the graves. For the convenience of visitors, a scheme has been introduced, the Khovanskoye cemetery on it is divided not only into main parts, but also into smaller sectors, all roads and paths are indicated. The territory is fenced, which reduces the risks of looting and vandalism.
