- Ready envelope.
- Beautiful paper (whole sheets and leftovers). Suitable for decoupage paper, with sparkles, wallpaper and so on.
- Cardboard.
- Glue.
- Scissors.
- Ruler.
- Pencil.
- Decorative elements (bows, sparkles, rhinestones, figurines of the bride and groom, pieces of fabric and so on).
How to make envelope for money?
An envelope for money can be bought or made. If you will buy ready-made, then choose one-color and such that there is nothing on it (for example, decorative elements). Pure white envelopes can be found in the mail or in stores with goods for creativity.
To make envelopes for the wedding for your own money, you need to prepare the basis. It can be of two types:
- The envelope that opens on top.
- The envelope that opens to the side.
First way:
- Take a sheet of cardboard and draw a layout with a pencil and ruler, as shown in the illustration below. Remember that the width of the finished envelope must be at least eight centimeters, and the length must be at least sixteen.
- Then cut the layout and carefully glue the parts together.
The second way:
- Take a cardboard and cut a rectangle 20-25 centimeters long and 17-18 centimeters wide.

- Cut paper from lace or buy a finished item in a scrapbooking store. Glue the decor in the center of the envelope.

- Glue several flowers on the ribbon, different in their shape and color.

- Prepare the envelope.
- Stick on top of paper with a pattern (for example, wallpaper) or draw an abstract pattern with glue with sparkles.
- Type the inscription “On the day of the wedding,” “Congratulations,” or any other, on beautiful paper and cut it out.
- Stick the inscription on the envelope.
- Decorate it with decorative flowers or beads.

Envelope in the style of Provence
Do-it-yourself envelope for wedding money in a Provence style is a very tender gift.
The main features of this style:
- A specific color palette: white, cream, milk, beige, as well as light pastel shades of lavender, turquoise, blue and green colors.
- Floral motifs in patterns.
- A sprig of lavender.
- Lace.
- Ornate lettering.
Possible options for making DIY wedding envelopes for money in the style of Provence:
- Take the lace and stick it on the front of the envelope.
- Tie the envelope with twine, and in place of the bow, attach the dried sprig of lavender.

To do this, make an envelope from a beautiful designer cardboard. Next, take a sheet of cardboard or thick paper. The length should be enough to wrap around the envelope.
In the center of the paper, draw a large butterfly - from five to eight centimeters. Inside the moth, draw a few more contours. Draw lines on both sides of the butterfly. Cut the stripes and the figure along the contour.
With a clerical knife, alternately cut the inner contours of the butterfly. As a result, you should get a voluminous moth, as in the picture above.
Connect the strips together with glue and put the jewelry on the envelope. Beads can be glued to the center of the butterfly.
Postal envelope
Do-it-yourself decorated envelopes for wedding money will be original.
Workshop on their manufacture:
- Cut out a cardboard layout of one side of the envelope, as in the figure above.
- Take beautiful paper (with sequins, for decoupage and so on).
- Attach the layout to the selected paper and circle it.
- Cut along the contour.
- Take the mailing envelope and insert the cut out part into it.
- Glue the inside of the envelope. It is more convenient to do with glue-pencil.
- Decorate the envelope from the outside. For example, as in the previous master class.

- Make an envelope of light-colored paper . Take ink, gel pens or paints and draw patterns with your own hands.
- Take a figured hole punch with the shape of butterflies, flowers, angels and so on. Knock out the figures from decorative paper and glue them in a chaotic manner on the envelope.
- Give the envelope flap its original shape. To do this, take special wavy scissors or a border. Using these tools, you can make lace on paper.
- Instead of paper, use photos of newlyweds and their relatives printed on plain paper.
