It is precisely on your exact knowledge and observance of the terms of the necessary vaccination that the life and health of the pet of the whole family often depends.

Usually the first vaccinations are given to dogs up to 3 months old. By this age, they are usually weaned from mother’s milk, which means that the puppy’s immunity is reduced and it becomes possible to become infected with viral diseases. So that a young canine organism can adapt to independent life and artificial feeding, the puppy needs to be given all the necessary vaccinations. Usually, shortly before vaccination, about ten days later, the dog should be dewormed. The first time after vaccinations, he is credited with a gentle regimen, abstinence from long walks in the air. After some time, the first vaccination is fixed by carrying out the second. As usual, the dog is given the rabies vaccine during the second vaccination. If the puppy was not done during this period - up to 12 weeks - then the next suitable time for rabies vaccination is one year old. Subsequently, the dog is vaccinated against rabies after twelve months after the previous vaccination.

Any vaccinations are given to the animal only when it is absolutely healthy. If the dog does not feel well, the meeting with the veterinarian is postponed, and the timing of vaccination is postponed. Doctors often recommend the first vaccination of a puppy at home, as he has only passive immunity acquired with his mother’s milk, which means he can easily catch any viral infection outside the home.

Why do you need a rabies vaccination for a dog, if it is under the constant supervision of the owners - you can ask such a question.
