Which is better: to issue a passport for a child or write it in your document?

Today, many of us cannot imagine our lives without traveling. Without a doubt, this is the best way to spend your vacation in such a way as to get a charge of vivacity and a lot of impressions for the whole year. At first, young people go to relax alone or in pairs, and with the advent of children, they do not give up their favorite way to spend a vacation. Of course, this leads to some difficulties, but it's worth it: travel is useful not only for adult family members, but also for younger ones: after all, how much new can be learned from such a trip! Naturally, for such trips it is necessary to have all the necessary documents, including a passport for a child or a special mark in the passport of parents. Which of these options do you prefer: to issue your own passport for a child or simply enter a child in the passport of one of the parents?

First of all, it depends on whether traveling abroad is an integral part of your life, or is this an extraordinary event. If the case of foreign travel is single, or you prefer any one country, then here you can approach from the point of view of benefits, based on the rules of entry into this country. In some states, you have to pay for a visa based on the number of passports, and then, if you include a child in the passport of one of the parents, you can save a lot. But, if you often travel alone, for example, on business, in some countries you will have to pay for the number of people who enter your passport, regardless of whether or not the child is with you. It also depends on whether your child will travel independently, for example, to a children's camp located abroad. If so, then a passport for a child is needed.

A passport for a child under 18 is issued on the basis of an application from one of the parents. To apply for passports for children under 14 years old and for children over 14, a different set of documents is required. So, for those younger, in the passport office or intermediary organization, you need to provide an application from one of the parents and the application form filled out by him, a copy of the birth certificate of the child, three photos of the child and one photo of the parent who is involved in paperwork, in a special format for passports, which should be black and white, but can be colored, only matte. In addition, you need to leave your registration address and contact phone number. For a child over the age of fourteen, the set of documents will be wider: these are four photographs of the child and two of the parent meeting the above requirements, copies of the passports of the parent and child, and if he had a passport before that expired, then his original copy of the labor parent's books , and, of course, a statement and a questionnaire. The application for the passport for the child and the application are filled in by the parent if the child is not yet 18 years old. In addition to the address of registration, you will have to provide the addresses of study and work of all family members involved in the preparation of the document.

How much the passport will cost for a child depends on the timing of its production: of course, the sooner you need a document, the more expensive it will cost, so it is advisable to worry about this in advance. Also, the cost of a passport depends on the region: in Moscow and the Moscow region its registration costs less than in the regions. Also, in addition to a passport, there is one more document without which you can not go abroad - this is a notarized permission to travel from one or both parents for those cases when a child travels with a group unaccompanied by relatives or leaves with one of the parents.
