Surely each of us at least once dreamed of going out to explore the mysterious world of an alien planet full of dangers. But few people thought that you can get an unforgettable experience not only on land, but also in water. The development team took advantage of this, creating a marvelous project about the marine world of the alien monastery of Subnautica. Do not work console commands in the game? The creators deliberately turned them off so that each player was forced to independently look for ways out of these situations.

How to enable the console?
Challenges on the planet 4546B begin from the very beginning of the game. And even those who still decided to use cheat codes should try a lot.
In the indie project Subnautica, console commands can be used to obtain items, create plants and unique fauna, as well as to debug the game and eliminate bugs. To access them, you must do one of the following:
- Exit to the main menu by pressing the [ESC] button, and then simultaneously press [F3] and [F8]. A small window will appear in which you need to uncheck the Disable Console item.
- In those cases when, when you click on the checkmark, the mouse arrow unexpectedly changes position, you must hold down the left mouse button, move the cursor to the desired item, and only then press LMB.
- Minimize and expand the game by pressing Alt + Tab, then press [F3] again and uncheck the item.

The second way to open the console
To get to the registry editor, you need to enter the word regedit in the start menu search box. The search result will be one single program that you must run as administrator. After making changes to the game Subnautica console teams will become available. To edit the registry you need:
- Follow the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Unknown Worlds -> Subnautica.
- In the drop-down list, find the parameter UWE.DisableConsole_h3091019503.
- Right-click on a parameter and select “Modify”.
- Change the value from 1 to 0.
Close all windows, simultaneously saving the changes made. Return to the game, and you will need to press [F3] to activate the console, soon you will be able to feel like a “god” in a hostile world.
Console commands
In the Subnautica game, console commands (cheat codes) are entered into the window that opens by pressing the ENTER or ~ key (the letter on the Russian layout).
Further in English you need to enter the cheat code itself and substitute the necessary values:
- ITEM [NAME] [#] will allow you to add any item to your backpack;
- SPAWN [NAME] [#] is necessary to create an animal, plant or object in front of the hero;
- NODAMAGE will make you invulnerable;
- OXYGEN will create an endless supply of oxygen;
- NIGHT and DAY change the time of day;
- KILL kills the player, and WARPME teleports the protagonist into a rescue capsule with items in the backpack.
The console commands used in the game Subnautica must be substituted for their values: instead of [NAME], the name of the required object or inhabitant of the depths is entered, and instead of [#], the required number is entered.
