The abundance of various fruits and vegetables on the shelves undoubtedly indicates that this industry is developing quite well and is bearing fruit. But many want to grow their crops to be sure of the quality and benefits of the products they consume. This also applies to grapes, it is believed that it belongs to the southern fruit varieties, and it is almost impossible to get it in the middle lane, but this is not so, there are varieties that have a sufficiently high frost resistance, and with proper care you can get bunches grown personally.
Appearance
The long-awaited grape variety belongs to white varieties, is distinguished by its attractiveness and good presentation, thanks to these qualities it is very often used for commercial purposes. Berries have a sufficiently large size, in weight can reach up to 12 grams, although the average weight varies within 7 grams. The berries are distinguished by their elongated shape and attractive color; when fully ripe, they can give an amber hue. Bunches have a weight of up to 1.5 kilograms and a conical shape, they are also very dense. The skin of this variety is transparent and thin, in the light through it you can see a dense pulp.
Taste qualities
A rich sweet and sour taste, average berry density, lack of excess astringency and juiciness - all these qualities can be safely attributed to the long-awaited grape variety. I would also like to note that there are no seeds in the berries, or there may be one, but dense and large. Given the size of the grapes, this indicator clearly distinguishes it from other large varieties. During the meal, thin skin is almost not felt.
Productivity
This type of green grape has an early ripening period. Harvest can be harvested after 105-120 days after the start of the formation of the first bunches. The long-awaited grapes will delight gardeners with their taste in mid-August. Also, given the size of the berries, a sufficient amount of yield, about 6-10 kilograms, can be collected from one bush.
Growing conditions
- The long-awaited grapes are perfectly adapted to moderate temperatures and have high frost resistance, able to withstand cold to -23 degrees.

- The plant is distinguished by the presence of both sexes in the inflorescence, so there should not be any problems with pollination; grapes must perform this function independently.
- Another problem that a gardener may encounter is poor tolerance to excess moisture. The long-awaited grapes are prone to decay, in the event that heavy rain falls or uncontrolled watering occurs. With the formation of such a situation, the optimal solution would be to cover the bush with a film at the time of heavy rainfall.
- A plus of the variety is its good resistance to various diseases and parasites. Wasps do not really like this green grape, so they harm it much less than other varieties.
Pruning
Given the large size of berries and bunches of grapes, it needs constant care, timely pruning. If you do not control the load, then the bush may not withstand the accumulation of fruits and simply die, in which case there will be no harvest at all. The presence of 30 eyes per 5-6 square meters is considered optimal, in which case the plant can independently cope with the weight. It is also necessary to perform the herding procedure. In order for the berries to ripen, they need a sufficient amount of sunlight, so be sure to remove the extra branches and leaves that close its direct contact.
Grape transplant
In order for the bush to grow well and give a rich harvest, it definitely needs fertile soil. The long-awaited grapes must be transplanted using the same technology as any other variety:
- The best time for the procedure will be either late autumn or early spring.
- The pit should be shallow so that the plant receives as much air as possible, and it is also desirable to pour a mixture of soil and mineral fertilizers to the bottom.
- The grape has a very fragile root system, so its damage cannot be tolerated. Deepening is necessary to fill in a fertile mixture in small parts.
- Also, the bush will need support, so it needs to be driven into the ground immediately after planting.
- Next, you need to water the grapes with several buckets of water, this procedure is necessary so that rooting occurs as soon as possible, and in autumn it will additionally protect the bush from frostbite.
