rules for dealing with strangers

Surely, in your life you have at least once been in an unfamiliar society. It is for such situations that rules of behavior with strangers were invented. Once at a celebration of the birthday of a distant relative or at a fellow student at a party, you may find yourself surrounded by unfamiliar or unfamiliar people. What to do in such a situation? Many people choose for themselves - not to stand out, to hide in a secluded corner and patiently wait for the end of the event. Others - prefer to wander for an hour and referring to a headache to leave the holiday. But you can try to become β€œyour” and make new acquaintances. Simple rules of behavior with strangers will help to join the company and expand the circle of communication.

  1. First principle: in order not to stand out, try to laugh at jokes with others. Of course, very often in narrow companies they tell funny oddities that happened to someone from acquaintances. You should laugh along with everyone and can tell a similar funny incident from your life. People love cheerful, cheerful interlocutors. They are not only happy to talk, but also laugh at other people's jokes, the main thing is that they are appropriate.
  2. Do not ask personal, unpleasant questions. In this situation, you need to judge for yourself, do not ask about what you yourself would not answer. It is always better to ask a general question to keep the conversation going. Let the conversation be unobtrusive. Having asked the interlocutor a question, let him express his point of view to the end, do not interrupt him. People love it when they listen, when they are interested. However, the question β€œHow are you?” Should be answered openly to enable the interlocutor to continue the conversation.
  3. Try to find a common language with the company. At the same time, one should not become like them, descending to swearing and swear words. Choose a pair of persistent expressions when communicating. Try to find someone who is interested in the same issues as you, it’s easier to talk with him. Perhaps he will introduce you to his friends.
  4. Refrain from negatively assessing anyone around you. As long as you are not familiar with the company well, do not make premature judgments. If someone speaks unflattering about the person present, this does not mean that an outsider can also express himself. While you are not aware of the situation, it is worth keeping silent.
  5. Be careful and courteous. Try to be polite. Contact your interlocutor by name, if you forget his name, ask again, referring to the poor memory of the names. True, you can wait until he is hailed. But you risk waiting a very long time.

Rules of conduct with strangers are quite simple and do not require special skills. In principle, they are as elementary as the rules of conduct in the lesson. About which we will go further.

  • Pupils after the signal about the beginning of the lesson should stand at the desks, having previously prepared everything necessary for the lesson.
  • If you are late, only the teacher can enter the class.
  • Upon rising, students greet each adult or teacher who enters.
  • The lesson can be answered only after the teacher’s permission.
  • It is not allowed to talk or interfere with the lesson.
  • On the desk should be only the right items, all the excess should be put in a bag.
  • Getting up and leaving the class is allowed after the consent of the teacher.
  • All your affairs must be done at a break, so as not to distract the teacher during the lesson.
  • In the corridor it is not allowed to run, push, shout and fight. You can play without violating discipline.
  • Sitting in the lesson, the student should pay attention to posture, position of the legs and tilt of the head.
  • It is not allowed to use cheat sheets and other tips in the lesson.
  • The signal about the end of the lesson sounds to the teacher, so getting up and leaving the class is allowed after his consent.
  • If the student misses classes, he must provide a certificate from a medical institution or a note from his parents.
  • Skipping classes is prohibited.

As you can see, these are quite important and by no means ridiculous rules of behavior. Especially if you want to show yourself on the good side. Despite the fact that the rules of behavior with strangers were invented a long time ago, they are relevant today.
