To determine if there is enough fur for sewing a vest, you need to lay out the fur pieces along the entire length of the product and only after that start sewing them, starting from the bottom of the vest.
Stripes of fur should be sewn at a distance of two centimeters from each other; so you need to sheathe the entire product. In order for a fur vest sewn with your own hands to look beautiful and neat, you need to sew fur with a thick and lush pile around the edges of the product.
On the shoulders of the strips of fur are connected, so first you need to sew two strips together, and only then sew them to the shoulder areas of the product.

To sew a vest, you will need approximately 75 cm of faux fur and one meter of lining fabric. When cutting parts, you must certainly take into account the direction of the pile - it must always look down. Do-it-yourself fur vest should be done as accurately as possible, otherwise after assembly of parts all the flaws will be visible and, apart from frustration, will bring nothing.
First you need to take all the necessary measurements - the circumference of the chest, waist and hips. You should also measure the length of the future product. Now you can begin to design patterns. First you need to draw a rectangle on paper, the width of which should be equal to the circumference of the chest, and the length should correspond to the length of the product. It is also necessary to add two centimeters to the seams. The rectangle should be cut and folded in half.
Now you need to put 75 cm down - this will be the middle of the back and shelves. From the top point you need to measure another 6.5 cm - the neckline on the back. The neckline should be marked with a smooth line and 12-14 cm should be drawn with a straight line at an angle - this will be the shoulder seam.

Fur and fabric parts must be joined together. This can be done with a sewing machine.
