So, as in the original version of the game, in Black Mesa, the passage begins with the fact that you arrive at work in the Black Mesa complex, where you work as a physicist. You need to listen to the background, prepare for the labor process, and then go on a responsible task - installing an unusual sample in an anti-mass spectrometer. It is here that everything will go wrong, and for a few seconds you will find yourself in a different dimension, after which, when you get out of the test room, you will find that the complex was attacked by aliens. Armed with a mount, you have to break through them, trying to find a more powerful weapon, as well as freedom.
However, it turns out that the government decided that something happened that should not come to the surface. Therefore, special units of troops are already flocking to the Black Mesa, who have been given a clear order - to shoot to defeat absolutely everyone - and that means you too. Accordingly, you now need to fight back from them too, and also look for a new way out. Scientists who will offer you a rather desperate move will help you in this - send you to where you have already been for a few seconds in the process of installing the sample. Thus, passing through already familiar levels, you will reach a portal that teleports you to another dimension. Unfortunately, on this passage of the game Black Mesa comes to an end - the developers decided to limit themselves to the first half of the game, so to study the second half you will need to play the original version - but it's worth it.
Passing levels in another dimension
Perhaps the developers still get to the alien dimension to complete the passage of the game Black Mesa. Or maybe it's just a way to draw attention to the original version of the game, so that gamers download it in order to find out how such an exciting story ended. However, at the moment, you can only find the ending in the original Half Life game, and it's really worth it. You have to travel on another dimension, fighting with unimaginable monsters and trying to find a way out - and, accordingly, salvation for humanity. As a result, you will have to fight in the finals with a huge main monster, whose defeat is very difficult. But after that, Black Mesa will offer you two ending options.
First ending
So, if you defeated the main monster from another dimension, then you are teleported to a trolley that moves through space. G-Man is already sitting in it, which you could see several times during the game, if you were careful enough - he explains to you the essence of everything that happens, and then invites you to work for him. He opens the trolley and there is a portal at the exit. You can refuse to go out, and this will lead to the first (and sad) ending - Gordon finds himself in another dimension, where an endless crowd of monsters comes at him.
Second ending
If you choose the second option and leave the trolley with G-Man, you will be frozen in a cryochamber to thaw by the time of Half Life 2. Naturally, it would be much more pleasant if both of these endings could be played in the Black Mesa 2 project.
