The road to freedom is a red brick trail. Following this path, you will come to the headquarters of Massachusetts. The main thing is not to go astray, because it is often lost under debris and garbage. If you lost track, then stop and look around. Sooner or later you will find the right direction. If you go the right way, then the second destination will be Granari Beraining Ground - the ancient cemetery of Boston, one of the most impressive sights of Fallout 4.
The road to freedom is difficult and dangerous
Be extremely careful: several ghouls roam among the dilapidated graves. After searching the territory, you can find the corpse, and next to it is a bag with weapons and ammunition. To continue your journey, find the old bus, a new trail starts from it. The next attraction you will encounter on the way is the Old Corner bookstore building. Inside you can find a small cache with covers and a couple of first-aid kits. Next stop is the Old Capitol. Friendly ghouls, led by their mayor, Hancock, who can become your partner, settled in the old building. The player can also take a couple of additional quests.
When approaching your next destination, Phanell Hall, be extremely careful. Both inside and outside the building is teeming with aggressive super mutants. After the battle, go to the house of Paul Revere, here you will also have a shootout.
Final destination
Approaching the end of the path, the Old Northern Church, get ready: you will find a hot battle with representatives of the local fauna. Having won, go inside, but do not relax. The church has become a new home for ghouls, and they will fiercely defend their territory. After killing opponents, go to the doors located opposite the entrance. Behind them will be the catacombs that need to be passed. In order not to get lost, use your pip-fight.
The final destination will be a metal disk with the inscription "Ring of the Path of Freedom." You need to use it to enter a password - the word RAILROAD. This is quite easy to do: rotate the ring in different directions, and, having hit the desired letter, press the center button. After entering the password, a door will open leading to the shelter of the subway. Inside you will meet a detachment led by Desdemona. And you have to go through a little interrogation, because the Underground is very suspicious of strangers.
