How to make a felt man’s hat with your own hands
The hat can be made with your own hands. To do this, you will need several special devices.
Foam blank. Take a few squares of polystyrene foam (3-4) and glue them together. The height of the workpiece should be approximately equal to the size (height) of the tulle.
Now you need to trim all the excess to form a blank, on which we will pull the felt. Note that the diameter of the workpiece should be equal to the volume of your head.
Now the blank must be coated with a thin layer of PVA glue. When it dries, wrap it with cling film. This is to ensure that the interior of your future products is always clean. In the lower part of the blank, fix the film with tailor pins.
We turn to the pattern of the hat. From felt you need to cut 2 circles. Add 7.5 cm to the diameter of the blank. This number will be the diameter of each circle. You can make hat patterns on paper or immediately draw circles on felt with a compass.

We turn to the use of the second felt circle. Just like the first one, it must be moistened with water and applied to the first felt blank. Repeat the whole procedure that was done with the first round. The last step - glue coating - should be skipped. Leave the top of the headgear to dry.
After the fabric becomes completely dry, remove it from the disc. With scissors cut off all the excess that remains in the lower part of the body.
