Profiled sheet is a sheet of metal made of galvanized steel. Using a special press, profiles of a trapezoid, wave or crest are squeezed onto it. To improve the anti-corrosion properties, it is treated with a layer of polymer or paintwork.

Varieties of profiled sheet and its weight
Profiled sheet is used for various types of construction. Therefore, each of them has a number of characteristics, thanks to which you can easily choose the necessary professional flooring for any area of use.
Distinguish bearing, wall and universal profiled sheets. They differ in both their size and weight. Data on the size of corrugated board can be found in its marking:
- The first letter indicates the scope. By the letter "H" they mean the carrier, by the letter "C" - wall, and by the letter "HC" - universal.
- The first digit is the height of the corrugation in mm.
- The second figure is the width of the profiled sheet in mm.
- The third digit is the thickness of the corrugated sheet in mm.
Depending on the brand, the profiled steel sheet has a different weight of 1 square meter. The smallest weight of one m2 of profiled sheet starts from 4 kg. The highest mass usually has a universal sheet - up to 21 kg per 1 m2.
Wall decking: description of popular brands
Profiled sheet marked "C" is used mainly for wall cladding, but is also used for the construction of fences, partitions, fences and other similar objects. A profiled sheet is made of a steel sheet of metal with a thickness of 0.50-0.70 mm, while it has a profile height in the range of 8.0-44.0 mm. The weight of 1 m2 of profiled sheet ranges from 3.87-8.40 kg.
Profiled sheet marked C8 is used for decorative wall cladding, as well as for the construction of light structures, partitions and other fragile objects. Has a height of "wave" profile of 8 mm. For the manufacture of corrugated sheet C8 I use profiled galvanized steel corrugation, which is coated with polymeric materials. The weight of 1 m2 of profiled sheet C8 is in the range of 3.86-7.3 kg.
Profiled sheet marked C21 is used for wall cladding, as well as for the construction of the fence and roofing. It is made of galvanized metal. The profiled sheet has increased rigidity due to the stamping of the profile. The "wave" profile is made in the shape of a trapezoid and has a height of 21 mm. The weight of 1 m2 of profiled sheet C 21 is from 4.44 to 8.45 kg.
Bearing decking
A profiled sheet labeled “H” is called a load-bearing or roofing sheet. It is used, respectively, for roofing, as well as for the construction of hangars, fences, trading floors and other structures with a long service life. Such a professional sheet has increased bearing qualities. For its production, steel corrugated sheets with a thickness of 0.70-1.0 mm are used, and the profile height ranges from 57-114 mm. The weight of 1 meter of square corrugated sheet will be from 8 to 17 kg, depending on its thickness.
Profiled sheet H60 is most often used for roofing. But also it is used for the device of fixed formwork and some other construction objects. The weight of 1 m2 of profiled sheet H60 ranges from 8.17-11.1 kg, depending on its thickness.
The professional sheet of the H75 brand has gained the greatest popularity among other brands due to its higher mechanical characteristics. Sheets with this marking can withstand heavy loads both vertically and horizontally. Most often, such profiled sheets are used for roofing. The corrugated board is made of zinc-coated steel with a thickness of 0.66 to 0.90 mm and has a weight of 1 square meter in the range of 9.2-12.5 kg.
Universal decking: description of popular brands
Universal professional sheet is marked "NS" and has average technical characteristics. Thanks to this, corrugated board can be used for any kind of work, but most often it is used for roofing. Corrugated sheets are produced with a thickness of 0.56-0.81 mm and a height of the corrugation, which can be no more than 44 mm, and the mass ranges from 6.30 to 9.40 kg.
Professional flooring grade 35 is used for overlapping roofs with a slight slope, the construction of fences, fences, various prefabricated objects. It is made of sheet material coated with zinc or galvanized material with a polymer layer. A trapezoidal profile gives increased strength. The profiled sheet has a thickness of 0.40 mm to 0.80 mm. The weight of 1 m2 of corrugated sheet also depends on the thickness and ranges from 4.46-8.41 kg.
H44 brand corrugated board is used for the construction of various fences, fences, as well as for roofing. Due to its high profile (44 mm) it has increased rigidity. The thickness of the profiled sheet is 0.7 mm and 0.8 mm. Accordingly, the mass of 1 m2 will be 8.30 kg and 9.40 kg.
