At the end of October, in all English-speaking countries, All Saints Day is celebrated. Traditionally, Halloween is accompanied by costumed parties, trips to friends and neighbors, begging for sweets and sweets. An interesting tradition has come to our country, but more often it is celebrated by adults in restaurants, cafes and other entertainment venues.
Costumes should be intimidating in order to frighten evil spirits who can walk free on this day. In the windows of houses put a terrible face cut out of a pumpkin and illuminated by a candle or a flashlight. One of the most popular outfits is a ghost costume. Such an outfit is sewn for both children and adults. You will need black guipure, white fabric, colored trimmings for patches, black marker, needle and thread.

The Halloween costume outfit below consists of two elements: hats and drape. They are made of warm felt, so that at the end of October a child can easily walk in the streets in it, wearing a warm sweater underneath.
In order not to mess with sewing hats, you can buy it in advance and add some detail at home. The drape is sewn simply. The material is folded in half, the neck is cut out in the center. By measuring the distance from the neck to the end of the arm extended toward the side, note the width of the product. Having measured the distance from the neck to the palm on one side and the other, we cut off the excess tissue. The bottom can be made even or rounded, as in the photo in the article.
The edges of the felt do not split, so that the bottom of the ghost costume can not be bent. You can decorate the edge of the outfit as follows: cut the hem into equal strips, each tie a knot on top.
