Why do people learn knitting? Most often, in order to realize some of their ideas and ideas. Products created independently, have great value for the craftswomen, because their color, size and pattern were selected individually.

Scythe: the queen of all patterns

Against the background of all existing ornaments, Aranes stand out qualitatively (they are also braids and plaits). Knitting patterns of these patterns require sequential movement of loops. When adjacent loops are swapped, one of them overlaps the second, resulting in an interlacing.

Knit braid patterns can consist of two or more strands, because at least two elements are needed to weave. Patterns of harnesses consisting of three, four and more strands are also popular. The most complex three-dimensional ornaments are formed by a combination of several braids. At the same time, designers often combine harnesses with other patterns: openwork, elastic bands, various dense ornaments.

The photo at the beginning of the article shows a bandage connected by a rather simple pattern.

Similar patterns of braids with knitting needles are similar to each other, which means that, having figured out one, you can learn to read them all.

We will analyze the scheme first, and then consider the use of the pattern to create the product.

The pattern repeat consists of 15 loops (P). This is the part of the ornament that should be repeated to place several braids side by side (for example, when working on a sweater). The rapport height is 12 rows (P). This means that after the first 12 P are knitted, you should repeat the braid from the first R.

Schemes of braids, knitted with needles, traditionally consist of front (LP) and wrong loops (IP). Typically, PIs are used for knitting the background, and the strands that are intertwined consist of LP. In the diagram presented above, the structure of the braid is slightly different. The background is formed by IP at the edges of the braid (one IP at the beginning of the row and one IP at the end), but the strands themselves consist of 1: 1 gum (one PL, one IZ).

How does the lock interlock:

1. The first six rows of braids are knitted according to the scheme: start with one PI and then alternate 1 LP with 1 PI.
2. In the seventh row, it is necessary to knit the first PI, then transfer the loops of the first strand (1LP, 1IP, 1LP, 1IP, 1LP, 1IP, 1LP) to the auxiliary knitting needle and leave it to work, then knit the loops of the second strand (1IP, 1LP, 1IP, 1LP, 1IP, 1 LP, 1IP), return the loops of the first lock to the left knitting needle and knit them properly, at the end of the last PI. Moving the lock leads to the formation of a braid with an inclination to the right. To get the tilt in the opposite direction, the craftswoman must leave the loops transferred to the auxiliary knitting needle at work.
3. The next rows of rapport fit in the same way as the first five rows.

Knitting a warm bandage

Knit braid patterns are very easy to adapt to create simple, even webs.

Bandage knitting sequence:

1. Type 21 P on the needles (15 P are needed for rapport, and the remaining 6 will be allocated to the edges).
2. Remove the first P, knit the next two drugs, perform the first P rapport, knit 3 drugs.

The following rows are knitted in the same way as the first P, that is, at the beginning and at the end, three Ps are made with a garter stitch (all the loops in all rows are facial), and in the center the braid is made of front and back loops.

Having knitted the fabric of the required height, the loops are carefully sewn to the set edge with a knitted seam.

If desired, the bandage can be crocheted on both sides.

The scheme of the caps with knitting needles with braids

The next product is knitted more difficult.

Here you have to work hard. Usually, the craftswomen first train on simple ornaments, and then they confidently knit braids with knitting needles. The scheme of the depicted ornament includes not two, but four locks. Each of them consists of the spirit of the LP. Central PL is not included in any order, it does not participate in weaving.

The first and second strands are interwoven with a slope to the right. And the third and fourth - with a slope to the left.

The bottom of the header is as follows:

1. On the knitting needles, they pick up such an amount of P that corresponds to six rapports of the scheme M.1. and six gaps of 4 drugs.
2. Then 5-7 cm are knitted with a 2: 2 elastic band.
3. Then proceed to the formation of a pattern. The first P after the gum is performed by the front, the second by the purl loops.
4. In the third row, weaving occurs: first, the first and second strands are crossed, then the central loop is knitted, then the third and fourth strands are crossed. Then knit the loop of the gap.
5. The next three rows are knitted with front stitch.
6. Repeat the rapport in the required number of times.

Knitting crown tops

When the canvas is equal to 10-12 cm, the loops need to start to reduce. They do it like this:

1. In each front row, one P gap is reduced.
2. When there are no gaps, it is necessary to reduce P according to the scheme M.2.
3. The last few P are pulled together with a strong thread and fixed.

At the last stage, the hat is sewn, tails are hidden and decorated with a pompom.
