One of the most titled and brilliant teams of the two thousandths is the team of the partially recognized southern republic - “Narts from Abkhazia”. Their first performance on the territory of Russia took place in the Voronezh League of KVN (2000-2001). After that, they conquered Moscow and the Moscow Region, having begun a triumphant ascent to the main trophy - the winners of the Premier League. The proposed article is dedicated to this energetic, slightly daring, but infinitely charming team led by Timur Taniya.
Achievements
The first title that inspired the Abkhazians to storm the television mountains was the title of the league winners in Moscow and Moscow Region (2002). This opened up the opportunity for them to participate in the Premier League and win the hearts of fans throughout Russia. In the status of vice-champions (2003), they got a ticket to the HSE Narts from Abkhazia. KVN, in turn, acquired a team whose national coloring adorned each competition program with their participation. Debuting on the main stage in 2004, the team won the Grand Prix at the Jurmala Music Festival. The following year, the guys have already become champions of the Premier League, sharing the title with Megapolis. In the final, they were also opposed by such strong teams as “PE” and “Four Tatars”.
A few more years, "Narts from Abkhazia" took part in other competitions, invariably winning honorary trophies. Together with the Pyramid (Vladikavkaz), they became the winners of the Summer Cups (2008, 2010), having received two KiViNovs - the Big One in the Golden and the Presidential - at the music festival in 2009. After these victories, the team gathered in full force only for the first meeting of graduates in 2015, where the Krasnodar Territory team, the Maximum team and the RUDN national team became their rivals. To all participants, the audience applauded while standing.
Command structure
In one of the brightest performances, Caucasians ("Pyramid" and "Nart") called themselves morons. But they immediately retorted “But together!”. The team of Abkhazians gathered universal players, where no one pulls a blanket over themselves. The captain - Teimuraz Taniya is the locomotive , but the rest of the "posts" are very conditional. You can distinguish the director of the team - Vianor Bebiya, the golden voice - Alhas Kajay, although the jury has always noted that the dances and songs are the chip of the Nart. Sergei Svetlakov in 2015 said that he wants to kneel down, listening to the Abkhaz sing.
An example of elegance can be called Timur Kvekveskiri. The roles of the younger generation have always been given to Damey Chamba, and the charismatic Timur Arshba was able to play any, most unusual character. The favorite of the Moscow public has always been Roland Mganba, who often only needed one phrase to cause an explosion of laughter in the hall.
"Sledges from Abkhazia" is also the sound genius Vadik Bigvava, a fighter in the always sports suit Said Khashba, playing foreigners because of his non-standard appearance Daur Chamagua, as well as Ruslan Shakaya, Alkhas Manargiya and Eric Mikaa.

After KVN
Today, the team took over the baton of the Abkhaz national team "Little Country", and veterans have achieved success on television, in the cinema and even in politics, being deputies and heads of major institutions. Many of them starred in Janik Fayziev’s film "August. Eighth" (2012), and were awarded the country's highest award - the Order of Honor and Glory. Timur Taniya makes a career in Russia. He not only starred in TV shows, appears in humorous shows on various channels, but also plays in the theater. In the play "Fools" he is busy as an oligarch.
Tania became recognizable after participating in the series "Friendship of Peoples" (2013), and one of his last works was the comedy "Take a Blow, Baby" by A. Hovhannisyan. The "sledges from Abkhazia" continue to come together for performances. The first serious tour for them was a visit to the United States in 2011.
Today
The team remains in show business, offering their services for 40-minute performances, corporate events and writing of copyright texts. It is curious that the fees depend on the distance, duration of the concert and the conditions of participation. At the same time, one can expect that the full composition of Nart (Abkhazia) will appear at the event. Prices are published on the official websites of advertising agencies with which the team collaborates. The minimum fee is 390 thousand rubles. If necessary, departure, it increases to 480 thousand. Fans, however, hope that the team will still have a chance to appear on Channel One in one of the anniversary programs of KVN, because Caucasians are still in shape and are ready to please the audience with new jokes.
