Sliding door systems

To everyone good wardrobes , but their main advantage is the system of sliding doors. The doors of the wardrobe are the main structural element. For the production of high-quality doors, the " Ronicon ". Sliding doors are necessarily framed by frames. The frames are usually made of either steel or aluminum. sometimes from other materials, but only on order. Rollers (for a steel frame) are attached to the door from the inside from below and from above, thanks to which it moves along original guides, they are called tracks. The vertical parts are absorbed by special protective edges, the so-called Schlegel.

The type of frames used makes it possible to distinguish two types of sliding door systems - steel and aluminum.

Steel system

Very easy to assemble, while relatively inexpensive, there is the possibility of adjustment. Differences from others are both in geometry and in color capabilities of the profiles used. The colors of the steel system are selected depending on the colors of the chipboard used - this is about 19 colors. The advantage is that the profiles made according to Italian technology are repeatedly covered with plastic of various colors. The lengths of special profiles are selected, so that they would be most suitable for the production of sliding wardrobe doors. Profile production is carried out in order to minimize residues in the manufacture of door mechanisms.

Aluminum systems

They are more reliable than other door movement systems. This depends primarily on the fact that the frame made of aluminum gives a high degree of rigidity to the doors, while they do not have play on the guide profiles. The support wheels in the aluminum system are hidden inside itself, which does not allow them to be seen. Thanks to this, it is possible to use similar systems for dividing space. If a transparent or translucent material is used when decorating a door, then an aluminum system should definitely be used, which will make the movement mechanism invisible. The colors used in aluminum systems can be very diverse, but champagne, wood-like (walnut, cherry, oak), and gold are in steady demand.

The materials that are used to fill the sliding doors are panel (made from chipboard), plastic, mirror doors, made of mirrors, silver, or tinted graphite or bronze, glass doors, 4 mm thick and above. Glass may be tinted or colored glass may be used. Combined doors can consist of several parts, each of which is made of different materials. And finally, they can be made in a mosaic style - curly mosaic panels are glued, often from mirrors.
