Very often in the speech of a Russian person the phrase “nature-mother” is used. What does it mean? What is its important meaning?
The diversity of living life on the planet
A huge number of living creatures live on our planet: animals, plants, microbes and bacteria. All of them are creatures of nature. Her children, speaking allegorically. Therefore, it is often said that nature is the mother of all life on the planet.
Today, there are several versions of the appearance of life on Earth, from the creation of the planet itself with creatures and plants inhabiting it by the Creator to the resettlement of aliens on it. But the findings of archaeologists constantly prove that ancient creatures were very different from modern ones. And many have completely disappeared, giving rise to other species and even families. Therefore, they were created by nature-mother in the literal sense of the word. After all, only mother is subject to the birth of living beings.
Nurse
But to bring to the light is just the beginning. Each parent must also feed her child. And by analogy with living things, mother nature also feeds both animals and plants.
Trees, grass, shrubs could not grow if it had not rained, the sun was not shining. And all this gives its creatures mother nature. Man, like many animals from the clan of herbivores, eats fruits of plant origin, and the plant mass itself.
Another part of the animal world, being carnivorous or omnivorous, eats differently. Predators attack the smaller inhabitants of the planet and eat them. A person in the group of omnivores can also diversify his table with dishes containing proteins and animal fats. And all this “supplies” us with nature. Although, speaking of plants and the products made from them, we often pronounce gratitude specifically to the earth, calling it both mother and nurse, forgetting that in addition to soil, plant growth requires precipitation, sunlight, heat, air.
Progress and nature
Today man is actively changing the face of the Earth. For example, he builds power plants on the rivers. Turbines destroy a huge number of fish, disrupt the life of many species of animals.
In cities, people erect factories. Production waste is thrown into the air, discharged into rivers. By this, people also cause irreparable damage to nature.
Megacities grow, capturing more and more space and crashing into forest zones. Through the taiga, roads are laid along which transport begins to move.
This is all called progress. It is impossible to live without electricity, without transport communications. And people also need housing. Although the damage caused by factories can be minimized. But this requires huge financial costs. Therefore, a person often does not think about what he will leave on Earth after himself, taking advantage of momentary benefits.
Science killers
If you can somehow understand and explain the construction of factories, factories, cities and power plants, then experiments with nuclear weapons are not at all accessible to common sense. How can you experience it in nature?
As a result of such experiments, very scary things happened. Ugly animals began to appear, plants giving enormous fruits, and incurable diseases appeared in people. How many living creatures died (including people), the media are silent.
The horrific discoveries used in practice were chemical additives to animal feed. They also changed the DNA of many of them. Not the fact that harm was not done to people who were forced to eat the meat of these animals.
To the destroyers of nature - shame and universal condemnation!
And how much harm is done to our planet by poachers and tourists who do not observe the most important rules of behavior in forests and near water bodies? To date, many species of animals and plants are exterminated, and some are listed in the Red Book.
Fans of outdoor recreation often leave behind household garbage, which not only spoils the beauty of the forest or the coast of a reservoir, but also harms animals. Shards from bottles hurt the paws of animals. There are frequent cases when bears or foxes, attracted by the smell of food, stuck their heads in abandoned cans and got stuck in them. Others suffered a painful death after they chewed a plastic bag.
It is for such careless and shortsighted lovers of relaxation in the forest that posters are put up at the entrance to the forest, saying: "Take care of nature, mother!", "Left trash in the forest - don't forget to grunt!" other.
Fiction and Nature
Some readers complain about writers who pay great attention to descriptions of the world around them. The rhythm of life today has so taught people to rush all the time that many simply don’t see beauty around them. And to spend time reading the description texts seems blasphemy to them.
In fact, such people rob themselves very much. After all, scientists have already proved that positive emotions received from contemplating the beauties of nature help to get rid of stress and cure many diseases. And if there is no way to visit beautiful places away from civilization and cities tucked into asphalt, then such descriptions are a substitute for them. In other words, our nature is a caring mother who not only gives birth and feeds, heals bodily ailments. She heals the souls of people.

“The air was so juicy, so incredibly tasty that I wanted to breathe and breathe! He seemed to nourish the whole body with vigor and strength. And then I suddenly heard a small fraction. So this is how a woodpecker knocks on a tree! And then my ear was struck by the trill of a bird. She rushed from somewhere above, gentle, flooded, so defenselessly happy! And the heart began to be filled with something as happy, pleasant, and peaceful. I raised my eyes to the sky and hardly saw a small, soaring bird. So here you are, a lark ... "
Poems about nature
In poetry, nature-mother is described even more vividly and figuratively. The poems of talented poets mesmerize and make you imbued with feelings of delight and joy from the feeling that you also live on this beautiful planet, that you are also a part of it. Many of them are put to music, for example, Yesenin’s creations.
But one should not think that contemporary authors are not concerned about this topic. And they love her and know how to write wonderful works on the beauty of nature, its problems. An example of such poetry can be called “Take care of nature” by the author Yulia Paramonenko.
I'm scorching in the summer heat
I will enter the cool forest
So here he is - real
The world of fairy tales and miracles.
I'll find a cold spring,
I will drink it with water
And decorously, noble
I will go on my path.
Nature gives bliss
And gives strength
Oh, free birds I would
Feel the flight!
Nature is a muse
She needs to be protected
Cargo Responsibility
Without taking off your shoulders!
