A team called G2 Esports entered the international arena in the recent 2015. In a short time, the G2 roster in CS: GO was included in the ranking of the most powerful teams in the world.
History of creation and development
As mentioned earlier, the G2 team was formed and played their first matches with other teams in 2015. The name Gamers 2 was originally chosen, and the composition of the team was recruited not only from the French, but also from citizens of other countries.
The first G2 roster included players such as:
- Scream
- Fox
- Dennis.
- Rain.
- Maikelele.
Along with the release of the team to the international level, a team of promotion managers took up it. They made the whole e-sports industry discuss G2.
In 2015, the ScreaM player left the G2 and went under the wing of the Titans. In the same year, the team made a small rebranding, after which it took the name G2 Esports.
The very first international line-up was remembered most in e-sports, as it was able to win 3rd place in such a tournament as DreamHack 2015. In January of the following year, FaZe Clan took the G2 team to itself and gave it 700 thousand dollars. After some time, the Titans roster went over to G2, after which their entire squad went over to them, including Scrim, from which the story of the former team once began.

Recently, eSports players have begun to change their teams too often. Sometimes they do not linger in the composition for six months. The composition of G2 was no exception to the rule. The team was attended by a wide variety of e-sportsmen, including quite famous personalities.

G2 roster achievements
This team, from the time of its creation, has proved that the global e-sports will have to reckon with them anyway. From the first fights, G2 showed excellent results and is still in the TOP of CS: GO teams.
From the moment of its creation to 2017, the team took part in 14 international tournaments and occupied exclusively prizes in them. During its existence, G2 earned more than 470 thousand dollars in victories in competitions and 700 thousand dollars for joining the FaZe Clan organization.
During their battles, the squad showed itself best on a map called Cobblestone, and the team's least productive fights took place on the Overpass map, but this did not prevent it from winning prizes in all the championships that were held.
