Plastic wells are increasingly used in suburban construction. They greatly facilitate the construction of sewers, water supply lines and drainage systems. Now the owners who are building their own home can easily install a modern well on their own.
Depending on the purpose, a plastic well can be:
- trough;
- plumbing;
- cable;
- drainage;
- storm drainage;
- for a well;
- to place the meter.
Why is it recommended to choose polymer tanks during installation? Consider the benefits that a plastic well has. So, its advantages include:
- the possibility of self-assembly and assembly of the product;
- light weight and dimensions;
- low costs of excavation, as well as minimal use of heavy equipment;
- universality of tanks (there is a wide selection of connections and types of hatch).
Design
The tank consists of top, body and bottom. The upper parts are different in shape, their size is limited by the diameter of the entire product. Hatches also vary in appearance - they can be blind or with holes. The lid covers only the plastic well, which is located in the green zone.
In the manufacture of small and medium tanks use a corrugated pipe used for the body of the well. This form easily interacts with the soil, since during frosts the integrity of the system is not disturbed. A meter-shaped plastic well has a completely different shape. In the middle part mounted plastic ribbed rings. The bottom of the tank can be either blind or equipped with a variety of connections.
How to install
During installation, special knowledge and skills are not required, as already mentioned above. Excavation work begins with digging a trench. Its size must exceed the plastic tank. The pit is dug deeper and wider by 200 meters. To limit soil sprinkling and increase the elasticity of the structure, geotextiles are used. Crushed stone is sometimes poured under the polymer fibers as drainage.
Plastic wells for sewage are lowered to the bottom of the pit. The tank must be loaded so that it is not pushed out of the ground. Then it is connected to a sewage system or water supply.
The next stage is the filling of the pit. It is produced in different ways, depending on which pipes were used. If they are of high rigidity material, you can fill up with the same soil. Typically, the pit is rammed every 200 meters. If polymeric materials of low hardness class are used in the manufacture of the tank, the well should be filled with cement mortar (sand and cement - 5: 1). They also compact every 200 meters of backfill.
When calculating the cost of work, a plastic well is taken into account, the price of which depends on the type of product. Most often, standard tanks are ordered. Based on the type of well, consider the cost of the material that was used in the manufacture of this instance.
Polymer tanks are used because they are convenient and airtight. They can be installed at a temperature not lower than -50 ° C. They also recommend pre-preparing the base (concrete or sand). With increased seismicity of the terrain (more than 7 points), such structures cannot be mounted.
