Horizon Zero Dawn is a unique representative of the Action / RPG segment in which the player will explore the world, search for technologies, create objects and weapons, fight and survive. Among the opponents of the gamer are huge robots reminiscent of animals and prehistoric dinosaurs. The original idea, an excellent graphic component, the vast world and thoughtfulness of AI made this project one of the most popular among users. The game was eagerly awaited at the development stage and, after the release on March 1, 2017, holds the top of the charts for PS4 exclusives. The reputation of the project is somewhat overshadowed only by the fact that the developer refused to port the action to the PC, motivating his decision with the gameplay and company policy.

The plot of the game Horizon Zero Dawn takes place in a world that has survived a cataclysm of unknown nature. Technology is lost, humanity is on the verge of falling to complete degradation and is at the level characteristic of the Stone Age. The main character, a girl named Eloy, accidentally discovers some remnants of the former power of people and begins her journey in a new world. As it turned out later, people lost control of the planet more than a thousand years ago, and robots evolving into a new alloy of mechanics and organics became the dominant species. As a form, a new development milestone has chosen prehistoric dinosaurs and large animals.
To maintain the existence of the game Horizon Zero Dawn, the gamer will have to collect the remains of defeated opponents: batteries, metal, wires, individual materials and raw materials. In addition, you need to hunt for food and collect memos of the lost past, gradually restoring the picture of what happened. The action is closest to the counterpart from the Assassin's Creed franchise, with an abundance of acrobatic elements and jumps. A key feature is the search for a weak spot on the enemy’s body. The world is dynamic, spacious, opponents do not leave the impression of soulless dolls, and AI acts productively and reasonably.
