Well-being is not the most used word in everyday speech, but because many people, when they hear it for the first time, the question arises about its meaning. At first glance, everything is quite simple and clear: prosperity is good days, that is, some very happy, very good period in life, or just happiness. And there is also a welfare society. In general, we need to figure it out.

Thus, we can say that we are talking not only about the good days of a happy life or about happiness in general, but also about well-being in general, for example, about the well-being of any group of people or the whole country.
Welfare society
The welfare state is a concept of the political system of society. Its other name is a welfare state or "house for the people", as they say in the Scandinavian countries. Such a society implies equal opportunities for all, a fair distribution of income and wealth, as well as collective responsibility for those people who for some reason cannot independently provide themselves with an acceptable and decent standard of living. Often such a model of society also implies free education (at least secondary, and often higher), free health care, and all those in need are provided with the necessary social assistance in full.
