By world standards of the textile industry, every item sewn at the factory and offered for sale should contain some information. It is for this purpose that a label is sewn to clothes. It should bear the following data:
1. Name of the manufacturer of the subject in question.
2. The exact size.
3. Characteristics of the composition of the fabric. As a rule, this parameter is indicated as a percentage.
4. The applied method of caring for textiles.
That is why the meaning of labels on clothes is so great: without the data indicated on it, it is impossible to determine, for example, whether the size of the chosen thing is the same. In addition, the composition of textiles is very important for people with allergic reactions. After all, not everyone will find a suit with woolen fibers, just as not every buyer will turn his eyes to the fully synthetic version of clothing.

Therefore, often to extract information about washing, ironing, drying and bleaching the wardrobe, decoding of labels on clothes is used. It includes a list of all kinds of icons that suggest the best way to increase the life of this or that thing. Symbols are standard for manufacturers in all countries. Therefore, it does not matter if your sweater is made in Japan or the USA - the indicated method of care for it will be similar.
We erase wisely
First of all, the label on the clothes should contain information about the optimal temperature regime, when used, your item will remain new for a long time. This symbol belongs to the “Wash” category. The following icons are also included here:
1. A container with water crossed out by a cross indicates that this item of clothing is strictly forbidden to be washed.
2. A similar icon, but without any lines, allows washing clothes.
3. If a hand is present in the previous symbol, this means a hand wash at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees. At the same time, rubbing and making efforts during the process is not recommended.
4. A label on clothes containing an icon either indicating the temperature, or with dots, can mean the following:

This is for washing. For wringing items of wardrobe and other textile items, there is its own designation. Information about this process is carried by the square inside which the circle is located. If this sign does not have any additions, then push-ups are allowed. If crossed out - prohibited.
Drying also has its own symbolic designation, an integral component of which is the square. This crossed out sign implies a complete rejection of the process. A regular square allows drying. Sometimes, to fully clean a textile item, you must resort to bleaching. On the label, permission or prohibition to conduct this process is indicated by an ordinary or crossed triangle. The presence of the Latin letters Cl inside the figure indicates that chlorine-containing preparations can be used during bleaching. A ban on the use of such substances is indicated by a triangle with two oblique lines inside parallel to the left side.
In addition to washing at home, sometimes for the cleaning process it is necessary to seek the help of dry cleaning. Whether a thing needs such a service can be learned from the presence of a circle symbol on the label. A crossed out or normal icon prohibits or enables the process. In some cases, the letter “A” may be inside the circle. It is understood that any solvent may be used. “P” does not recommend the use of trichlorethylene, and “F” allows cleaning with the addition of hydrocarbon and triflotrichloromethane.
