Important about alcohol
The most important question that torments many is not about watermelons, coconuts or durians (which, incidentally, is forbidden to be exported), but about alcohol. Beer, wine, rum, rice moonshine ... So how much alcohol can I take out? According to official sources, no more than 1.5 liters of an alcoholic drink with a strength level of 22% or more can be taken from Vietnam according to official sources. If the percentage of the content is less than 22%, then it is allowed to export 2 liters of liquid. As for beer, the allowable volume is 3 liters. Carriage of alcohol is allowed only to people over 18 years old.
Restrictions on the quantity of exported goods are also imposed on tobacco, tea and coffee. If a tourist wants to bring home Vietnamese ground tobacco, then he can take only 500 grams. If it is a cigarette, then the amount reaches 400 pieces, if a cigar - 100 pieces. As for tea and coffee, everything here is measured in kilograms. Tea is allowed to be exported in packages weighing up to 5 kg inclusive, coffee - up to 3.
