Assembly

Making poppies from corrugated paper (a master class will help you learn how to make them look like fresh flowers), you should pay particular attention to the final stage of work.

The assembly is carried out in the following order:

  • they take a round candy or, if you do not want to make a “sweet flower,” a piece of crumpled foil, which was shaped like a ball, and hide it in paper to make the middle of the flower;
  • stamens are attached to it with threads;
  • with the glue gun attach the first petal, place the second one next, etc.

Corrugated paper poppies (master class): picking a bud

Option number 1

You will need corrugated paper in red (No. 580) and green (No. 562) colors. The bud is made in this order:

  • twisting the end of the wire, prepare the stem so as not to accidentally pierce the candy (you can use a ball of foil or a piece of foam);
  • 1 red rectangle (3x11 cm) and 2 green (3x8 cm) are cut out;
  • the first part is scrolled in the middle 2 times and the candy is hidden;
  • attach the wire using the thread of the desired color;
  • round the top edges of the green rectangles with scissors;
  • visually divide the resulting parts in length into three parts;
  • the uppermost of them scroll once;
  • give the details the shape of a boat, slightly stretching the paper;
  • fix the unopened bud of red color between two green details.

  • cut out 2 green rectangles (3x10 cm) and 2 - red (7x3 cm);
  • with the help of scissors to give the last shape of the petals;
  • stretch the top edge;
  • crumple the petals, just like for the poppy flower itself;
  • spread them and hide a candy (a foil ball) between them.

  • a strip is cut from corrugated paper, which is equal in width to the diameter of the intended flower;
  • fold it with an accordion to make a square;
  • draw a circle on it;
  • fasten the center crosswise with a stapler;
  • cut out a circle from all layers of paper;
  • make small teeth along the edge;
