Sooner or later, any person thinks about a quiet and relaxing vacation, which, perhaps, will last a couple of days, but there will not be anyone around. One option is a trip to the taiga. Traveling through the taiga is a very complex process, which involves descents and ascents, crossing the forest thicket and water flows. But it is here that you can feel yourself the center of the universe and feel not moral, but physical fatigue.
Difficulties to be prepared for
If you are going on a hike alone, you should understand that for several days no one in your direction will not let go of an inappropriate joke, there will be no TV and the Internet. You have to rely only on your legs, arms and head.
You will have to master the skills of orienteering on the terrain and carry a fairly large load on yourself. Prepare food yourself and escape from annoying insects, and possibly from wild animals.
Camping
A single trip through the taiga requires careful preparation. First of all, you should start by laying a route and be sure to inform relatives or relatives of your decision, especially if the plans include conquering difficult terrain. Be sure to take a map and compass.
Depending on the complexity and duration of the trip, equipment is selected. The most important thing: if the trip will be with an overnight stay, then there should be a tent in the backpack. Next, pick up a sleeping bag depending on the season. What else to put in a backpack:
- karemat;
- knife;
- a rope;
- bowler hat;
- lighter and matches (in hermetic packaging);
- a gas burner or tablets of dry alcohol for igniting a fire;
- first-aid kit.
Water and food
Even if the map shows that there will be many sources of clean water along the way, it should be decontaminated. The body of a city dweller is not adapted to the consumption of even clean, but excessively saturated with mineral substances water.
What to take from food reserves is an individual choice of each traveler. The main thing is that they be as nutritious and high-calorie as possible, it can be canned meat, noodles and cereals.
What to wear and put on
When going on a trip to the taiga, remember that most of the time you will have to be on your feet, so the shoes should be as comfortable as possible, but not new, worn out and with a high top. To relax your legs on a halt, you can take slippers. Itβs better to stock up a new pair of socks for every day. Clothing should be waterproof and light.
Going to the taiga on your own is a brave step. If you have never had such an experience, then it is better to go on a group trip for the first time to assess the degree of difficulty of such a trip. But even if you go to the taiga for 1 day, they will be remembered for a lifetime as the best hours in life.
