The first part of Mass Effect was really great. When it went on sale, the gaming industry market shook because the world had not seen such a project. An incredible setting, a unique role-playing system and a huge number of a wide variety of innovations, which were breathtaking. As experience shows, in most cases the sequel to such a masterpiece is far from being so good: developers are in a hurry to earn money on a sensational project and do not really go into details when creating a sequel. But the story of “Mass Effect” went a different way: the second part of the game was even more beautiful than the first. She not only retained all the best that was in the original, but also added a lot of new things. Including one very interesting mission, which caused a headache for most gamers. This task was even called suicidal, because it is likely that almost the entire team of Normandy, the ship on which the protagonist and his comrades travel, will die. This article will examine in detail the passage of this mission in such a way that the entire crew lives to the end of the game Mass Effect 2. How to save the whole team? It is not very simple, but quite doable.

Suicide mission
So, you have almost completely completed the game and were able to decrypt the data from the Collectors' ship. Immediately after this, you can begin the passage of the last suicide mission Mass Effect 2. How to save the whole team in it? To do this, take into account absolutely all the details, starting with a description of the assignment itself. You need to install the “Svoi-Alien” system on the ship, and then go to dock with the Collectors ship. When this happens, there will be no turning back, so the game offers you to first complete all the tasks that remained in your diary. Immediately it is worth reporting: it is too late, you will not be able to complete the mission, as this will affect the survival rate on your ship. How? This will be discussed later. If you have already reached the last Mass Effect 2 mission, how to save the whole team is your most important question, which will now be sorted out in stages.
How to survive?
So, ahead of you is the last mission of Mass Effect 2. How to save the whole team - this question does not go out of your head, but no matter how much you try, someone always dies. This is not surprising, because you need to fulfill a number of conditions, and even a slight deviation will lead to the death of one of the team. First of all, you will need to complete all the necessary tasks before you take the last. Especially pay attention to the missions related to the loyalty of your partners, since the chances of their survival will directly depend on this parameter. Secondly, install all the maximum improvements for your ship. If this is not done, the ending will be sad. Well, and one more point: be sure to activate the Omega-4 repeater immediately after your ordinary crew has been abducted. The game Mass Effect 2 will require you to pay utmost attention to all details if you want the ending to be without sad notes.
Private crew abduction
You will understand that the suicidal mission began when your ordinary crew was abducted. Here you have to act instantly, because any delay will lead to incredibly high losses. The game Mass Effect 2 will not spare your team, so you need to immediately activate Omega-4, which was discussed earlier. If you complete at least one side mission, half of your crew will die, and if you decide to complete more than three tasks, only one doctor will survive, and everyone else will die. That is why all the quests, missions and tasks you need to complete before the abduction, since immediately after it you will need to activate Omega-4 and go to the Collectors ship. There are mods in Mass Effect 2 that add new tasks to the game, so you will need to take care of absolutely all aspects before embarking on a suicidal mission.
Heavy Armor Installation
So, time to get ready for the journey. To do this, you need to maximize the ship on which you travel around the world of Mass Effect 2. Mods add additional equipment, but it absolutely does not affect the outcome of the game in any way. You will need to install Heavy Ablation Armor first. Without it, Jack will die with absolute probability. Therefore, in no case do not forget about it, since Jack is an important member of the team, and if you pumped him more than others, then losing him will be very disappointing. True, in Mass Effect 2 the characters are useful in any case, and the purpose of this guide is to save everyone, so it makes no sense to consider the probability of losing one of the crew members.
Activation of multi-core shields
If you do not install multi-core shields, then the consequences can be much more dire. In this case, there is a slightly different randomization scheme in Mass Effect 2: characters have a certain chance of death in the absence of this improvement, but it does not affect everyone. Of the thirteen characters, only four are not at risk of death due to the lack of shields. Thus, one of the characters in the list, which is sorted by probability, will die. Most likely, it will be Kasumi, Legion or Tali. Naturally, such a risk should not be allowed, so it is better to immediately install shields. In Mass Effect 2, the codes will not help you complete this task, so try your best if you want everyone to survive.
Installing the Tanix gun
Tanix is an improvement that must also be installed necessarily, otherwise you risk losing another crew member. The principle is exactly the same as in the case of multi-core shields: there is a list from which one character will die due to the absence of this weapon on board. As in the previous case, in Mass Effect 2 the codes will not help you cope with this task, so be careful to ensure that the necessary upgrade is installed. If you fly without it, then the most likely candidates for death are Thane, Garrus and Zayed. If all this seems too complicated for you, then you need to understand that in Mass Effect 2 a team is your everything. Only with the help of your partners can you complete missions. Moreover, all parts of the game are interconnected, and in the third episode those heroes who died in the second will be absent.
Mission in the pipe
So, you arrived on the Collectors' ship, and the first stage of this mission will take place in the pipe (of course, except for the first stage, a space flight, during which you can lose up to three crew members). Here you will need to assign two characters to specific roles - Specialist and Arrow. Remember that for success in Mass Effect 2, the team must be as loyal as possible, since it is this characteristic that largely affects survival. At this stage, you definitely need to appoint two maximally loyal characters, with the first role choose Tali, Legion or Kasumi, and the second - Jacob, Miranda or Garrus. If you choose other characters for one or both roles or they are disloyal, the Specialist will die, that is, you will lose another crew member. But you remember that your goal in Mass Effect 2 is to save everyone, so follow the instructions clearly and the outcome will be positive.
Under the shield
The first stage of the mission is completed, and in the second you are given a great opportunity to save your ordinary crew, and this can be done perfectly, without loss. To do this, again, you will need to clearly follow all the instructions. First of all, appoint Samara, Morint or Jack as a specialist and remember about their loyalty. If they are not loyal, then one of the heroes who travel with you will die. Most likely it will be Thain, Jack or Garrus. Now about Strelka. It must be Jacob, Garrus or Miranda, and Miranda can be both loyal and disloyal, but the first two characters will die if they do not have sufficient loyalty. The last and most important point is the rescue of an ordinary crew. If you send a loyal character to accompany the crew, then everyone will survive, but if the disloyal leaves, only the doctor will survive. In the event that you decide to send the crew unaccompanied, absolutely everyone will die. Now you must have finally realized what a huge role is played by how loyal the heroes are in Mass Effect 2.

The battle with the prostitute
So, you got to the main boss of the game. What is required of you now? You need to send four crew members to cover your rear, and with the other two enter the last battle. To those characters that you take with you, there is only one requirement that you are used to is that they be loyal. If not, they will die in battle. But with covering the rear, everything is much more complicated. You need to calculate everything in such a way that the average survival rate of the group is more than 2. If it is less, then the characters will die. One or all four can die. It all depends on how low the ratio will be. If all the characters you have are loyal, then you only need to not put Jack, Kasumi, Tali and Mordin in the garrison. It is better not to use them at all, or to take with you to the battle with the boss. Well, from disloyal characters you can safely put in the garrison of Grant, Zayed or Garrus, as they have a fairly high survival rate even in the absence of loyalty.
Victory! What's next?
So, by hook or by crook, you defeated the main boss, and now the question arises: what will happen next to Shepard? In fact, there is a chance that the captain will die, but for this you will have to work very hard. Shepard will die only if only one member of the team survives or no one survives at all. In other cases, Shepard will remain alive. But if you followed the instructions, then everything should survive in your team, and instead of the final video with Shepard at the tombs of his partners, you will see how the captain is walking along a saved planet.
