Probably every girl knows by heart, though not every, but almost all the stories of Disney princesses. Beautiful, kind and noble - each of them has its own story, which necessarily teaches something good. This is Snow White, and the Little Mermaid, and the Sleeping Princess, and each has its own kind fairy tale. There is another among these princesses, her story is similar to the story of Cinderella. Who is this? That's right, this is Princess Tiana.
Who is Princess Tiana?
According to the tale, Tiana was originally not even a princess at all. The little girl grew up in an African American family that could not boast of a large income. Tiana's father worked all day, making every effort to feed his beloved wife and daughter. And he also had a cherished dream - to build his own restaurant. Little Tiana was also imbued with this dream, imagining a thousand times how they all run a beautiful and huge establishment in the city center together. Being small and believing in fabulous fulfillment of desires, Tiana guessed, looking at a bright star, so that her request would come true soon. Many years have passed since then. The girl’s father died, who could not bear the hard physical work, and the whole burden of making money for the cherished dream fell on the shoulders of the fragile, but very decisive Tiana. How many years will it pass when a girl gets the name Princess Tiana? Disney talks about this in his cartoon.
What happened next?
So what happened next? Refusing to walk with friends and other entertainments, the girl worked tirelessly. Then still not a princess, Tiana worked at two jobs, almost without being at home. Charlotte was the girl’s only close friend - they have been growing together since childhood. Charlotte was the daughter of a rich man who invited Prince of Navlene to visit Orleans. From this moment begins a fabulous story in which Tiana falls. “The Princess and the Frog” is the name of the cartoon about the adventures of a black girl.
The dissolute prince falls into the net of a voodoo sorcerer, who turns him into a frog. Only a kiss of love can lift a spell, but in the case of Tiana, who accidentally meets a frog prince, everything turns out the opposite - she herself becomes a frog. Only Ody's mother, a witch living far away in the swamps, can help them. However, in order to reach it, one must pass the possessions of hunters, impassable swamps, as well as many other dangerous trials. Are the frogs ready for this?
The story goes on
The main characters overcome a dangerous path, meeting new friends along the way - a crocodile and firefly Ray. The four of them continue to make their way to Ody's mother, and the dark forces of the kingdom of the dead are chasing them on the heels. Both heroes are very different in their characters: the hardworking and stubborn Tiana and the windy and frivolous Prince Naveen. Throughout the journey, Tiana teaches Navin simple tricks of life, and in the end he falls madly in love with a girl not at all in his position. Mom Ody immediately understands the situation, but poses a challenge for the lovers - in order to restore their former appearance, the prince must kiss the real princess. And she, of course, will not be Princess Tiana. The title of princess gets Charlotte, whose father is annually elected king of the grand festival. Lovers decide that it is Charlotte who should kiss Navin. After they reached New Orleans, the prince was kidnapped by dark forces, and in his place appeared his servant, who took on the royal appearance by means of a magical amulet into which the blood of the real prince Navin should fall.
No hope
In one of the exciting moments, firefly Ray learns the truth about the false prince, for which he pays with his life. The voodoo sorcerer catches up with Ray and destroys him. However, Ray turns into a star and flies into the sky to his lover (also a little star) named Evangeline. The girl saves her lover, and together they run to Charlotte. Minutes remain until the end of the allotted time. Charlotte understands the situation and refuses the status of a newly-made princess for the sake of the sincere love of her friend. She kisses the frog prince just to help her friends, but nothing happens. Lovers still remain frogs. Then they decide to return to the swamp to Ody's mother and stay there together forever. It was at this moment that they both abandoned everything that connected them to a past life.
A happy ending
Ody's mother is happy to betroth the prince and Tiana, and here the incredible thing happens - Prince Naveen and Princess Tiana again become people as soon as their lips touch each other.
Having received a new status, the girl frees her lover from the spell. The parents of the prince accept a new daughter-in-law, and together they rebuild the most chic restaurant in the city.
This is how a simple girl achieved the title of Princess Tiana. The cartoon tells that you can achieve your goal only by hard work and diligence, and in no case should you give up your hands (or paws), but you need to go together to the very end.
