2. Grated raw potatoes are placed in a container and diluted with warm water. We put the silver product inside and wait a few minutes. After that, to give the chain shine, you can wipe it dry with a woolen cloth.

Cleaning the silver chain at home from black

It is much more difficult to get rid of darkening on silver, since they are provoked either by chemical reactions or by the long life of the product. So:

1. We take the container, wrap it with foil, put a chain inside and add baking soda - two or three tablespoons, cover with foil. Pour boiling water on top and wait 10-15 minutes, after which we wash the product with cold running water.

5. On a toothbrush, which, of course, you no longer use, we apply a small amount of a mixture of toothpaste, ammonia and soda and intensively three silver chains. The effect will be noticeable almost immediately. Important: cleaning the silver chain in this way should not be carried out too often. Since it can cause cracks on the product.
