What is called pastafarianism?
Pastafarianism is a young religion that was founded by Bobby Henderson (an American physicist) in 2005. It is a parody created to emphasize the far-fetched and absurdity of some pseudo-scientific concepts. The name of the religion comes from the Italian word "pasta", which means different types of pasta.
Pastafarianism also has another name - the Church of the Flying Pasta Monster. He is the supreme deity of this religion. It was the Flying Macaroni Monster (LMM), intoxicated, according to Henderson, who created our universe. Do not forget that the Pastafarian Church promotes a parody of religion. And Henderson’s statement is a protest against the Kansas Department of Education, which plans to include the concept of Christian creationism in the school curriculum.

In Russia, the pasta monster church is officially registered. The document was received on July 12, in the Moscow region, in the administration of Khoroshevo-Mnevniki. The church notified the city authorities in advance of the creation of a new religion of the Russian Orthodox Church. How the world and the commandments were created according to the Russian Orthodox Church
The Pastafarian Church was created as an alternative to the theory of evolution, which the Kansas Department of Education decided to include in the school curriculum. According to Henderson's concept, the world was created by a drunken Flying Monster, which consists of meatballs and spaghetti. And this version has the same right to exist as the traditional Christian teachings.
Henderson demanded that the religion of the Flying Monster be included in the compulsory school curriculum. Moreover, with the allotment to pastafarianism as much time as Christianity. Immediately after the emergence of a new religion, a parody of the LMM was written. In it, similarly to the Christian Old Testament, 8 dogmas are formulated.
In accordance with them, it is proposed not to judge people by their appearance, manner of speaking or clothing. You need to behave yourself. And remember that a woman and a man are separate people, but both are individuals. A bore will remain just a bore. There are no people who are better or worse than others. The only exception is the ability to dress fashionably.
How is the church financed?
The Russian Pastafarian Church is a non-profit organization. A Pastafarian T-shirt shop costs zero royalty. All items are sold at cost for which the company bought them. On the site of the Russian Orthodox Church, you can get a certificate of ordination, which costs 200 rubles. Anyone can become a bishop for only 500 rubles.
Pastriarch Kama Pasta First explained that this was done only to cover the most necessary expenses: telephone, printing a certificate, which costs a lot of money. Now the pastriarch is in a big minus, but he is ready to take on all church expenses. Kama Pasta One does not want this project to turn into a serious organization with its own office and accounting.
Why do we need a new religion?
He explained that the new religion is just a peculiar way of communication. Active humanity must communicate at various venues. Laughter and fun are powerful means of combating stubbornness and obscurantism. There are many people who just want a fun drive. But in the Russian Orthodox Church there are many reasons for this. The new religion is intended mainly for atheists and skeptics who also want to believe in something, and with a smile.
