From the very first minutes of the film, many are loved. Great cast helps you watch a movie without stopping. The game is so professional that you start to live with these images.
The image of the Father, perfectly embodied by Dmitry Nazarov, makes the plot even more dramatic. Although, for the sake of truth, I must say that in the film there is a healthy share of humor. The main characters, who at first glance should cause negative emotions, after all criminals, raise a wave of emotions, most of them positive. The story of how life can change in a very short period of time, regardless of social status, marital status and talents. The heroine of Polina Kutepova, Lyubasha, is the embodiment of a real Russian woman - persistent and courageous, but at the same time kind and loving. Other roles are no less characteristic, for example, the hero of Igor Petrenko. The actor appeared before the audience in a completely new role, he remarkably fit into the role of a seasoned felon.
The main character, of course, is present, however, Eduard Volodarsky “Shtrafbat” removed so that the plot develops not only around the central image. Each character takes his place, making the picture complete.
Of course, as always, there were many critics dissatisfied with the film, some compare the two adaptations, which is basically wrong. Films were shot at different times, and not all the ideas that the authors of the picture embodied in a new film adaptation could be voiced in those days, but on the whole the audience was satisfied. Everyone found something of their own, familiar. For the younger generation, this is palace romance and sincere feelings, for the older generation - memories, sometimes sad, sometimes funny. In any case, the film deserves to be watched.
Instead of an epilogue
This scenario was the last work of Eduard Volodarsky. You can criticize his work as much as you want, looking for historical inaccuracies, and scolding the master for excessive drama, a desire to defame the Soviet regime, but we, our children and grandchildren, will long revise our favorite films, reliving events with the heroes again and again. All films are watched in one breath, you look forward to every new series, you catch every phrase so as not to miss the most important thing. Perhaps there is not a single life situation that would not be affected in his work. Watching the film, you involuntarily try on this or that act of the hero, trying to understand how you would act if you were in his place. Films of Volodarsky make you think, and this is very good.
