The small sea village of Arkhipo-Osipovka welcomes thousands of tourists every year, who, incidentally, lovingly call him Arkhipka. It is located in the administrative district of Gelendzhik and is very popular. The explanation is simple: the vacation here is budgetary (and this is with a very developed infrastructure), and there are also several cozy beaches.
Climatic and environmental conditions
The weather in the village is classical Mediterranean. You can swim in May and before the beginning of October. Perhaps because Arkhipka is protected from cold winds by mountain peaks: the Camel “enters” the sea waters on the right, and the Hedgehog “dips” on the left.
Near the mountains two rivers flow into the sea (Vulan and Teshebs), due to which the water in the bathing area is always clean, which is confirmed by numerous reviews from photos of the beaches of Arkhipo-Osipovka. In the upper reaches of the latter is a favorite place for guests of the village - Gebius Falls.
The entrance to the water is gentle without differences in depth. In addition, pine trees fill the air with useful volatile products and in a compartment with sea salt, relaxation becomes not only pleasant, but also useful.
Our "Nice"
So often tourists call the village. Of course, this is all thanks to the wide, tiled promenade luxurious with snow-white balustrades, a huge selection of entertainment, cleanliness and excellent infrastructure. There are enough options for living here. There are many budget offers, motels and hotels with a high level of comfort for fastidious guests.
At sunset, vacationers from the beaches move to small cozy coastal restaurants or night clubs.
Beach vacation
There are four beaches in Arhipka: the central between the rivers Vulan and Teshebs, the other two on both sides of the rivers and the wild Camel behind the mountain. The coast is mixed: sand with small pebbles.
Central beach
The largest in the village. Reviews from the photo of the beach and the embankment of Arkhipo-Osipovka vying with each other tell not only about cleanliness and convenience, but also about everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything is thought out here. There are sunshades, rental umbrellas and sun loungers, equipped with showers, drinking fountains, changing cabins, toilets and wooden flooring right up to the water and even a left-luggage office for personal belongings. Moreover, neither a shower room, nor locker rooms, nor fountains are going to queue more than five people, even at rush hour. Perhaps because there are quite a few of them scattered across the vast territory of the beach. The only minus of booths and toilets - they work only until eight in the evening. On the Central beach of Arkhipo-Osipovka (reviews from the photo can confirm this), as, in fact, on many others, guests from hot countries and owners of exotic animals offer to make a memorable picture. There were even crocodiles (they appear on the beach "under their own power", which terribly surprise vacationers).
Guests of the resort still write that they are pleasantly surprised by the paths paved with paving tiles that go deep enough into the beach area.
Summer cafes work on the beach, offering refreshments and light snacks.
Safety is provided by a team of rescuers and health workers. Smoking on the beach is strictly forbidden (a significant penalty is required for this). But for fans there are still specially designated places.
Taking care of every guest
On the central beach of Arkhipo-Osipovka (reviews with photos can be easily found on the Web) all the popular attractions are collected. Something like: riding a speed boat, jet ski, catamaran or banana, parachuting and even a jet of water. This is the newfangled flyboard today. And there is far from it in every resort place.
For younger guests, all kinds of inflatable slopes and trampolines are installed.
There are several rental points, cafes, shops with groceries and bathing accessories, as well as souvenir shops.
Nornickel Beach
It is located behind the right cape of the village, near the Camel mountain and compares favorably with the rest: you can drive to the Nornickel beach by car, a special congress is organized for this. This resting place was opened not so long ago, therefore it is still crowded here. In reviews of the photo about the village of Arkhipo-Osipovka and the beach "Norilsk Nickel" guests write about a well-equipped and well-groomed area. Amenities are organized absolutely everything: toilets, changing rooms, showers and rental offices. Open summer cafe and bar. Rest here is paid, but inexpensive.
You can get here on foot over the bridge over the Vulan River (at the entrance to the territory of the Arkhipo-Osipovka sanatorium), and then go down to the sea. But this is far away. Therefore, most of the guests of the village cross the river by boat. Naturally, this is paid, but absolutely safe. And a kind of crossing works from early morning to dark. In this case, another 10-15 minutes of leisurely progress and the goal is achieved.
The people call this beach "Prokhorovsky." Where does this name come from? Everything is simple. Five years ago, Mikhail Prokhorov, the owner of the Norilsk Nickel company, planned to build a multi-star hotel complex and already invite guests to it in 2015. But for reasons unknown to the world, dreams were not destined to come true. Prokhorovsky beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka (you can clearly see everything from the photo from any review) remained at the initial stage of construction. And it was planned to do everything at the highest level, including elevator slopes and lifts. But even in this form, the beach has established itself as a great place to relax.
Beach over the Vulan River
Small but very popular. The beach is sandy, the beach is gentle without rifts, the bottom is flat. For descent to the water laid wooden flooring.
You can get to this beach on foot along a beautiful shady alley. A ten minute walk from it there are many budget housing and inexpensive mini-hotels.
Beach over the river Teshebs
This beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka (photo from the reviews of that evidence) is the third most popular and is located at the foot of the picturesque Mount Hedgehog. Here you have to lie on pebbles. But this beach is considered the most picturesque in the village. There are not so many people here as on Central Beach, which is probably why couples with children chose it. The infrastructure is standard: bars, cafes, rental points, toilets, changing cabins, awnings, sunbeds, etc. For entertainment, boat trips, parachute flights over the sea and scuba diving. Waiting for guests and several small cafes with drinks and light snacks.
Wild beach
It is located behind Mount Camel. Judging by the photos from the reviews, the beaches of Arkhipo-Osipovka, including this one, are clean and well-groomed with clear water. They reach the wild beach either on foot or by car through the Nazarova Dacha private camping. The coast is strewn with boulders, the depth is shallow, but in some places unpredictable. This beach was chosen by lovers of secluded relaxation. There is enough space for setting up a tent, and even for a campfire or barbecue. Nudist beach
There is one in the village. It is located a kilometer from the Central beach at the foot of the Hedgehog. Swimming here is not very convenient: the entrance to the water is large-grained, covered with algae. There is absolutely no infrastructure, but there are beautiful views, especially if you climb a little uphill.
Entertainment
According to vacationers, on the Central Beach the leisure of the guests of the resort is very well thought out. For children, for example, there are playgrounds and many attractions. Their territories are fenced, which makes it possible to leave the child to play and not worry about him.
Rest in Arkhipo-Osipovka (photo of the beach can be seen in the article) is not only lazy lying on warm pebbles. There are enough gaming areas. There is, for example, a huge indoor pavilion with billiard tables. And even in the hottest time, they are not empty. A little less space is occupied by the slot machine hall. And to the surprise of young people (this is also often written in reviews), players of old age are often found in it.
