The USRIP is a state registry that contains registration information about IP. Any interested person can draw information contained in it, in addition to the personal information of an individual registered by the entrepreneur.
The concept of EGRIP
This abbreviation means "Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs."
Its order is defined in the Federal Law "On state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs". It is set both for newly registered entrepreneurs, and for those who have already worked in this capacity and decided to close the deal.
Features of IP in Russia
In our country, the legal conduct of entrepreneurial activity can only be after the state registration of an individual as an individual entrepreneur. This distinguishes Russia from a number of other states in which special certificates of entry in a single register are not required for such activities.
Thus, the USRIP is the only legal way in our country to become an individual entrepreneur.
Information collected by the registry
This registry contains a large amount of data on entrepreneurs. Their accuracy is checked by the Federal Tax Service.
Information from the USRIP can be obtained by the IP itself free of charge or by any interested person for a fee.
Basic information in the registry:
- identifying individual IP: last name and initials (full name and patronymic);
- floor;
- birth data: date and place;
- address of permanent residence in the country;
- information from the identity card of a resident or non-resident of the Russian Federation;
- date when an individual was registered as an individual entrepreneur;
- licensing information;
- timing and methods of closing IP;
- TIN and data on the Federal Tax Service Inspectorate, where IP registration was carried out;
- OKVED;
- date of registration by the insured with the relevant funds.
Why might you need an extract from the USRIP?
As already noted, the IP itself has the right to demand it, as well as any interested parties. The latter, for example, may be involved in verifying the activities of a particular entrepreneur.
Also, information from the registry is necessary when making financial calculations, entering into transactions and other types of contracts. Receiving an extract allows you to protect yourself from risks when working with contractors.
IP statement may be needed in the following cases:
- when opening a bank account in a bank and posting through them;
- when participating in tenders, state competitions, obtaining loans and borrowings;
- when signing contracts and other cases requiring confirmation of the implementation of legitimate activities;
- at registration of licenses and permissions;
- when carrying out real estate transactions;
- if necessary, to be present in court as any party to the dispute.
An extract from the USRIP from the tax office is available at the request of the individual entrepreneur or interested person. In addition to it, duplicates of the requested documents or a certificate of the absence of the necessary data can be provided.
Receiving statement
To carry out this action, you need to contact the IFTS at the place of residence. Information related to secrecy will be provided to the individual entrepreneur to whom the extract from the EGRIP is provided.
To receive the documents, it is necessary to submit an application in free form, issuance is carried out after 5 working days (possible urgently, then 1-2 days). In addition, the application can be contacted via the Internet, for which you need to obtain an electronic signature key.
In case of a personal appeal to a tax document, it can be issued both in paper and in electronic form. The first of them can be obtained at the Federal Tax Service or at the post office. By the way, it is possible to order information from the USRIP on it by sending a request from any post office.
In this case, the following information must be indicated in it:
- full or abbreviated (initials) identifying information of the individual entrepreneur according to the full name;
- TIN or OGRNIP.
The person requesting the information must necessarily provide a receipt confirming payment of the state duty.
In addition, there are many companies on the Internet that, for a certain amount, help to obtain an extract in a shorter period.
You can also apply for the issuance of basic information about the IP in the section "Checking the counterparty" on the website of the Federal Tax Service. But, you need to keep in mind that without an electronic signature this extract will not have legal force.

Document Duration
There is no legal framework for regulating this issue. However, practice indicates that interested parties accept a document that was issued no more than 30 days ago.
In some cases, this period can be reduced to 3 days.
Thus, the USRIP is a register of entrepreneurs from which an extract is provided for any interested parties.
What you need to get
Mandatory duty must be paid. And upon receipt of the document you will need to submit an identity document.
If a third party is to declare and receive an extract for an IP, then a notarized power of attorney is required for it.
Sample
Consider an extract from the USRIP. The sample posted in the article is not identifying a specific person, but general.
The document is a table. It first goes the basic information, which indicates:
- OGRIP;
- TIN;
- status (valid or not);
- FULL NAME.
The following are the registration data:
- OGRIP;
- status;
- in case the IP is not valid, the moment of termination of activity is given (date);
- type of entrepreneur (left since when there were private entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs without the formation of a legal entity);
- name of the registering authority in which the case is located;
- GRNIP (coinciding with OGRIP in all other cases);
- The date on which the entry was made in the Unified State Register of Enterprises.
The following is information identifying an individual:
- OGRIP is indicated in relation to the entrepreneur;
- Name of citizen in Russian and Latin;
- Date and place of birth;
- floor;
- GRNIP;
- date when the entry in the USRIP was made.
Citizenship information is provided:
- OGRIP;
- type of citizenship (citizen of which country is an individual entrepreneur);
- GRNIP;
- date when the entry in the USRIP was made.
Following is a document serving as an identity card.
Next is information about OKVED. First, information is provided about the main activities, then about additional ones. All of them are given in standard forms:
- OKVED code;
- type of information (main or additional type of activity);
- GRNIP;
- date when the registration in the Unified State Register of Enterprises was made.
They contain information about when the registration with the IFTS was carried out:
- OGRIP;
- TIN;
- date of registration with the IFTS;
- reason for registration;
- date of deregistration (if there wasn’t one, the field remains blank);
- reason for withdrawal (similar to the previous paragraph);
- name of tax authority;
- GRNIP;
- date when the registration in the USRIP was made.
Following are information about registration with the Pension Fund of Russia:
- OGRIP;
- FULL NAME. an individual;
- registration number in the FIU;
- date of registration;
- date of deregistration (to be completed if it was implemented);
- name of the territorial authority of the FIU;
- GRNIP;
- date when the entry was made to the USRIP.
Similar information is provided for the FSS and the MHIF. License information may be added.
If the IP was registered before 01.01.2004, then information about the entries in the Unified State Register of Enterprises is mandatory:
- GRNIP;
- OGRNIP (corresponds to the GRNIP);
- Name, surname of an individual registered as an individual entrepreneur;
- date when the entry in the USRIP was made;
- status;
- in connection with which this record was made;
- name of the body that made the recording.
There can be several such events for which entries were made; for each of them, information is constructed that is similar.

Thus, the USRIP is a database of all IPs that have ever undergone state registration in Russia. It contains information about both current entrepreneurs and those who have completed their activities in this capacity. With the development of telecommunication channels, obtaining an extract from the USRIP has become quite simple, without visiting the IFTS, but using the Internet.
