Furniture for Barbie dolls should be stylish and extraordinary. Therefore, the chest of drawers will be made using technology that will age it. First you need to prepare and collect the necessary materials. These will be:
- Empty matchboxes - 2 pcs.
- PVA glue, candle.
- Two cardboard plates: one 1 mm thick, the second 2 mm thick.
- Nail file or piece of sandpaper.
- Jewelry for fittings.
- Acrylic paints (brown and white).
How to make doll furniture? We start to create!
- Glue the boxes back.
- Cut 4 blanks from thick cardboard. Two for the side walls of the chest of drawers and one for the upper and lower parts (do not glue the front and back walls).
- Paste the boxes, starting from the bottom and top (then on the sides).
- Press gently to secure end zones. Ideally, cardboard should tightly fit the boxes.
- Protruding bumps, nicks with sandpaper or a nail file.
- Pull drawer prototypes from the workpiece.
- Take a brown tone of acrylic and thoroughly paint over all surfaces, joints and corners of the workpiece.
- If the paint is thick, then you can do without a primer.
- A paraffin candle to process the outer and inner corners of the dresser, as well as the ends. Brush off the white crumbs of the candle with a dry sponge or brush (if they remain, then all aesthetics will be lost).

- Let's start decorating the facade of drawers. From thin cardboard cut 6 rectangular blanks of different sizes (3 for each). One that will be glued directly to the box should exceed it in length and width. The second is slightly smaller than the first, and the third is the smallest.
- Make preliminary measurements of the workpieces: there must be a gap between them for the normal extension of the drawers in the finished chest of drawers.
- Glue the rectangles by laying them on top of each other (put the middle on the large, and the smallest on the middle).
- Glue the blanks to the drawers, which are best inserted in the box.
- Cover with brown paint, then grate with a candle and fix with a white tone.
- When everything dries well, take an emery cloth and wipe off a layer of paint in those places that were treated with a candle.
- You need to rub easily and without pressure, so as not to get to the cardboard. Now it remains to tint the chest of drawers with brown paint to give it a touch of old age.
The pleasant part of the work remains - decoration and decoration. Scrap paper can be glued to the top of the dresser or, for example, a vase of flowers using quilling technique can be placed. If you want, attach legs from twisted strips of paper to the dresser.
