Giovanni grape berries

Giovanni grape bushes require pruning, it is made taking into account the growth of the bush. If this procedure is not carried out, it can reduce the productivity of grapes. It is also important to cut off the stepsons in time so that the plant does not waste strength on them.

Planting and fertilizer

For planting, different methods are used: parietal, trellis, arched and arbor. From the wall you need to indent at least 1.5 meters, and the distance between the bushes is 2.5 meters.

Fertilizers are applied three times per season:

  1. The first time fertilize during planting with phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, as well as organic: manure, humus, compost.
  2. The second time you need to feed before the start of the growing season. Nitrogen-containing substances are added to previous fertilizers. Nitrogen helps in the formation of leaves and fruits, but slightly slows down the development of roots and woody parts. Therefore, nitrogenous fertilizers are applied only once.
  3. For the third time, grape bushes can be fed in the fall after harvest.

If the bushes are young (up to 3 years), then after the last feeding, they must be covered for the winter, even in the southern regions.

Observing the simple rules of growing Giovanni grapes, you can get a high yield.
