From the underworld of the "Mortal Kombat" universe came many insidious creatures, overflowing with meanness and anger. But none of them can be compared with a sorcerer named Kuan Chi. Unlike other characters, he never acts independently. It is easier for him to resurrect warriors, summon ghosts, or use another similar method to achieve the goal.
The necromancer has many unsolved mysteries. No one knows what the army of ghosts is for. And most importantly, no one can explain the character’s involvement in a mortal battle.
Description of the sorcerer
Historically, the sorcerer never acted independently. Weaving intrigues, conspiracies, the invocation of ghosts and critters from the underworld - these are the main principles that guide Kuan Chi. "Mortal Kombat" literally replete with characters with their ruthless and vile tricks, but none of them more than a necromancer appreciates bloodthirstiness, no one can masterfully use black magic.
Witchcraft is used by the character in order to influence the mind of the opponent. As a result, it deals damage to itself. Also in the process of fighting, the magic of necromancers is used. So flying skeletons, skulls or gargoyles attack instead of the sorcerer himself.
The character we are describing has pronounced protective qualities. He is able to create a barrier against magic attacks. He is also able to block the abilities of the enemy. Despite the fact that most of the tricks are using magic, the sorcerer is also good at hand-to-hand combat.
Speaking about how to get Kuan Chi, gamers do not have to do something unusual. He can choose it in standard form, unlike, for example, Goro. In part 10 of the game, it will be available only to those players who make a reservation.
Battle modes
The 10th part of the Mortal Kombat universe has several differences from previous versions. For example, heroes can fight in many ways. Like the rest of the characters, Kuan Chi can use one of three battle modes:
- Witch. At the same time, the necromancer calls on skulls from the underworld, and can create protective or suppressive fields around himself or the enemy, respectively.
- Warlock. Now the magician has a weapon - a sword endowed with special power. He can also open portals, moving on them independently. So there is an opportunity to strike from the back. If you open the portal under the enemy, then he will fall, then appear on top. In this case, you can carry out combo receptions or a normal attack.
- Summoner. Based on the name, it is logical to assume that the sorcerer will call for help from demons from the other world. Moreover, not only called creatures will be able to attack, but the necromancer himself.
There is no coercion regarding the choice of regime, but it will not be possible to change until the end of the battle. The gamer decides on his own which abilities he needs, depending on the specific opponent, a particular situation during the battle, or in accordance with personal preferences.
Character behavior in battle
Kuan Chi is a pretty slow character. Many gamers even compare it with Yermak. Sometimes the so-called magic dust is released from the hands, which allows you to push the enemy away during the block, completely depriving him of the opportunity to strike. If the enemy hits with normal defense, then the minimum number of health points goes away.
When applying a special technique, which becomes available after collecting a certain number of points, one must not allow the enemy to have a block. In this case, the damage level is reduced very much. The player will only spend the accumulated points in vain.
There is also the possibility of briefly depriving an opponent of the opportunity to use their tricks. Only standard attacks will be available to him. Experienced gamers use it when there are few health items left.
In principle, the sorcerer is strong enough: if you learn combo tricks and ligaments, then the enemy will have no chance.
Receptions
What is Kuan Chi capable of? The developers decided to leave the tricks the same - the same as in earlier versions of the game. Unless they made some changes and slightly replenished their number. The main ones are as follows:
- weapons theft;
- throwing weapons;
- throwing a skull called from the other world;
- tackle;
- jump shot;
- teleport with a punch.
But every experienced gamer knows that the usual one-time tricks do not cause significant harm. Moreover, they make the battle boring and uninteresting. The use of bundles of punches is much more productive.
As indicated, the sorcerer is slower than most other characters. Therefore, the player will have to predict the behavior of the opponent in order to put the blocks on time. But if you fight against the necromancer and let him take matters into your own hands, then the defeat will be obvious.
Fatality
Before the death of one of the characters at the end of the fight, the captions appear on the screen: “Kill him / her”. Players now have a few seconds to press a specific key combination. If everything is done correctly, it will be possible to enjoy the key final action in the game Mortal Kombat (MK).
Each character, as well as Quan Chi, makes his own fatality. There are two types of this action: accessible from the very beginning and secret. The second can be obtained by spending a lot of time in battles. For fights, the player receives gold, which he can subsequently exchange to open a secret fatality.
In the 10th part of the game, if at the end of the battle Quan Chi wins, then you need to click on D, A, D, A, L, being far from the defeated opponent. Then the character will do its main fatality. With the help of magic, he creates a sword that the adversary takes himself to (this is why the technique is called the “mind game”). Walking close to the tip, he begins to swallow it. Then Quan Chi raises his opponent, leaving the sword in its original position. As a result, it is cut in half along the body. A bloody sight, but the whole game is built on ruthless fights.
To perform a secret fatality, you must press S, D, A, D, I, being close to the opponent. It is called "two ways." Quan Chi opens two portals on either side of itself. He throws the opponent at him, while holding his leg. Then, in the second portal, Kuan Chi catches him by the hand, after which he closes both “windows”. The opponent is again tearing in half, but now across the body.
Conclusion
This is not to say that Kuan Chi is the strongest hero in MK, but he is certainly not weak. Thanks to black magic and skillful knowledge of necromancy, he may not leave his opponent any chance of winning. But the victory of the sorcerer is possible only if the player will train hard and practice a bunch of strokes. Then the black magician, along with the servants called from the underworld, will cheer.
