This is a family-type attraction that allows you to overcome the fear of heights and admire the beauties of the surrounding countryside from above. Most recently, a new Ferris wheel was put into operation in Rostov. What is remarkable about this attraction and what do the lucky ones who have already managed to ride say about it?
The long-awaited discovery
Revolution Park is one of the largest and most beautiful in Rostov-on-Don. It is no coincidence that this place was chosen for the construction of a new urban symbol - a high ferris wheel. The authors of the project wanted to give an attraction to the residents of the city for the May holidays of 2016. However, when assembling the wheel, there were some difficulties. Some of the elements of the attraction had a factory defect. The replacement of parts unsuitable for installation was delayed, since a complex structure was manufactured at a specialized factory in Germany.
In the spring, residents of the city were announced that the Ferris wheel in Rostov would be launched at the very beginning of the 2016-2017 school year. Rostovites had a pleasant surprise: having come for a walk in Revolution Park in the last days of August, many found the long-awaited attraction for workers.

The attraction received the romantic name "One Sky". The height of the Ferris wheel in Rostov is 65 meters. Today, the attraction is the third highest in all of Russia. The highest is considered the Ferris wheel in Sochi (83.5 meters). An honorable second place is occupied by a similar attraction in Moscow (73 meters).
About how the height of the Rostov wheel was chosen, there are real legends. According to one of them, the main investor was not too lazy to evaluate the panorama in the place chosen for construction when viewed from various heights. A personal helicopter was used for these observations. And it is from the 65 meter mark that the most interesting and picturesque view opens.

The daily rate is valid from 12:00 to 17:00, the cost of tickets for it is 200 rubles. On weekdays after 17:00 and at any time of weekends and holidays, the price of a ride on an attraction is 250 rubles. Riding in superior cabins - 1500 rubles / cabin, capacity - up to 6 people inclusive.
The new Ferris wheel in Rostov is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00 on weekdays. At the weekend, the attraction closes at 02:00. Ticket sales stop 15 minutes before the end of the Ferris wheel.
