Authors biography

Anna and Sergey are not fans of telling in detail about their lives. Their work fell on the era of the “severe nineties,” while most ordinary citizens did not have a sweet life. Anna graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University, defended her thesis, perfectly mastered spoken English, worked in a bank, then on the radio.

Sergey is also a creative person. His miniatures, humorous stories were published in various central newspapers and in Smena magazine as a student, although he is an energy engineer by training. Sergey was seriously interested in history and archeology, went to excavations, so to speak, in the fields. This helped a lot later when writing some works.

There is no silver lining

In the early nineties, they decided to open their own advertising agency, which they called the "Fifth Division." The Fifth Division lived a little over five years and died quietly in 1998. Verily, there is no silver lining! After all, if the business of the Litvinov’s brother and sister went uphill, we probably would never have known about the adventures of the reckless adventurer, the humble detective Pavel Sinichkin and many other heroes who are so similar to us! But the advertising agency was closed, and in order to get her brother out of a protracted depression, Anna begins to write a novel whose idea she had nurtured for a long time, but "all hands did not reach." And she asked for help. Each wrote their own, and then compared, added and edited. Creators

The detectives of Anna and Sergey Litvinov rightfully became the best-sellers of our time. Their works very favorably differ from others in the absolute unpredictability of the plot. The dynamism of events, the “possibility of the impossible” - this is their style, originality that you can’t confuse! When an ordinary person in an ordinary city on an ordinary day suddenly finds himself in a fantastically impossible situation, and then also masterfully gets out of all the traps and nets placed!

Based on the detective stories of the Litvinovs, in 2005 a multi-part film "The Adventurer" was shot. Moreover, Sergei played a police officer from France - Mustachio Ajana, and Anna - a millionaire from Ecuador with non-traditional sexual orientation. At the moment, a film adaptation of a number of Litvinov’s works is planned, which millions of fans are looking forward to.
